FDA Refuses to Provide Key COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Analyses
September 13th, 2022Via: Epoch Times:
U.S. drug regulators are refusing to provide key analyses of a COVID-19 vaccine safety database, claiming that the factual findings cannot be separated by internal discussions protected by law.
The Epoch Times asked the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in July for all analyses performed by the agency for the COVID-19 vaccines using a method called Empirical Bayesian data mining, which involves comparing the adverse events recorded after a specific COVID-19 vaccine with those recorded after vaccination with non-COVID-19 vaccines.
According to operating procedures laid out by the agency and its partner in January 2021 and February 2022, the FDA would perform data mining “at least biweekly” to identify adverse events “reported more frequently than expected following vaccination with COVID-19 vaccines.” The agency would perform the mining on data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).
In a recent response, the FDA records office told The Epoch Times that it would not provide any of the analyses, even in redacted form.
White House Readies ‘Emergency Decree’ As Nationwide Rail Strike Looms
September 13th, 2022Via: ZeroHedge:
President Biden and senior administration officials are working with others in the transportation industry, including truckers, shippers, and air freight, for “contingency plans” if a rail shutdown materializes at the end of the week, a White House official told Bloomberg.
The administration is trying to understand what supply chains could be disrupted the most — and how to utilize other forms of transportation to ensure commodities and consumer goods continue to flow across the country.
More than 100,000 railroad workers could walk off the job on Friday if freight-rail companies and unions don’t reach labor agreements.
We noted that 29% of all US freight moves on the rails. Half the cargo is bulk commodities, such as energy, food, chemicals, metals, and wood productions — the other half is shipping containers of consumer goods.
A work stoppage would cost the US economy $2 billion per day in supply chain disruptions. It wouldn’t be the best optics for the Biden administration ahead of the midterm elections.
New Zealand Scraps Most Covid Rules
September 13th, 2022Via: Bloomberg:
New Zealand will no longer require people to wear masks in indoor public spaces or to be vaccinated to work in certain roles, as the country winds down its pandemic battle and learns to live with Covid-19.
From midnight, face coverings won’t need to be worn anywhere except in health settings like hospitals and aged-care facilities, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern told a news conference Monday in Wellington. The framework used to specify the level of risk to the community from Covid-19 and corresponding restrictions will be scrapped, she said.
Armenia Says 49 Soldiers Killed in Attacks by Azerbaijan
September 13th, 2022Via: AP:
Azerbaijani forces shelled Armenia’s territory Tuesday and killed at least 49 Armenian soldiers, Armenia’s prime minister said, a large-scale attack that fueled fears of broader hostilities breaking out between the longtime adversaries.
The hostilities erupted minutes after midnight, with Azerbaijani forces unleashing an artillery barrage and drone attacks in many sections of Armenian territory, according to the Armenian Defense Ministry.
The ministry said fighting continued during the day despite Russia’s attempt to broker a quick cease-fire. It noted that the shelling grew less intense but said Azerbaijani troops still were trying to advance into Armenian territory.
Credit Card Companies Implement New Sales Code for Transactions at Gun Stores
September 13th, 2022Via: CNBC:
Gun law advocates are praising a decision to adopt a new sales code for transactions at gun stores, a move they had urged to help flag suspicious purchases.
Last week, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which sets standards for payment transactions, approved the special merchant code for credit and debit card transactions at U.S. gun stores. Then over the weekend, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express said they would begin using the new code.
John Feinblatt, president of Everytown for Gun Safety, said the move is a critical first step toward giving banks and credit card companies the tools they need to recognize dangerous firearm purchasing trends ? such as a domestic extremist building up an arsenal — and report them to law enforcement.
A merchant category code indicates the types of services or goods sold to consumers. Previously, gun store sales were categorized as “general merchandise”.
Ukraine Retakes Territory as Russians Retreat
September 12th, 2022Via: The Warzone:
Russian forces are withdrawing from Kharkiv Oblast and elsewhere en masse with Ukrainian forces retaking territory across the eastern frontline.
Ukrainian troops have raised the flag over critical cities of Izyum, Lyman, and Kupiansk after nearly a week of gains with a mix of mechanized, special forces, and motorized troops punching through and overrunning Russian positions.
Estimates vary, but it’s believed Ukraine may have pushed as far as 70 kilometers into Russian-held territory. Ukrainian troops have likely undone much of Russia’s gains in the east since its second phase began in April.
Truly Autonomous Cars May Be Impossible Without Helpful Human Touch
September 12th, 2022Via: Reuters:
Autonomous vehicle (AV) startups have raised tens of billions of dollars based on promises to develop truly self-driving cars, but industry executives and experts say remote human supervisors may be needed permanently to help robot drivers in trouble.
…
Imperium Drive’s Kaveh said as more self-driving cars – which are more predictable than humans – hit the roads the number of edge cases will drop, “but you will never get to zero edge cases.”
“Even decades from now you will not get to 100% truly autonomous vehicles,” Kaveh added.

The WEF King Ascends to the British Throne
September 9th, 2022Via: The Dossier:
At the onset of COVID Mania, Charles sat down with World Economic Forum leader Klaus Schwab, in which the pair excitedly championed a “Great Reset” to “solve the climate crisis and restore the natural world.” In a podcast with Schwab, Charles advocated “carbon pricing” of goods and a “net zero” agenda, which, of course, would result in mass human suffering.
Obviously, none of these demands apply to the British royal family, who are free to deploy infinite tons of carbon into the atmosphere, unlike the peasants who did not inherit castles and other forms of enormous wealth.
Whistleblower Fears COVID-19 Shots Pose Aviation Dangers
September 9th, 2022Via: Epoch Times:
A chorus of whistleblowers alleging that COVID-19 inoculations may have turned pilots into airborne ticking time bombs seems to be growing louder. Experienced military, medical, and aviation personnel are citing increasing concerns about potential catastrophic side effects of the shots—such as strokes, heart attacks, or pulmonary embolisms—occurring during flights.
The whistleblowers allege that federal mandates ordering the jabs conflict with FAA standards for medications. Under those regulations, pilots are barred from flying when using drugs that earned FDA approval less than a year prior. COVID shots were administered under Emergency Use Authorization, not full FDA approval.
