Rockefeller Foundation, Nonprofits Spending Millions on Behavioral Psychology Research to ‘Nudge’ More People to Get COVID Vaccines

The Rockefeller Foundation, the National Science Foundation (an “independent” agency of the U.S. government) and other nonprofits are pouring millions of dollars into a research initiative “to increase uptake of COVID-19 vaccines and other recommended public health measures by countering mis- and disinformation.”

In conjunction with the Social Science Research Council (SSRC), the Rockefeller Foundation last month announced $7.2 million in funding for the Mercury Project, initially launched in November 2021, under the slogan, “Together, we can build a healthier information environment.”

The funds will support 12 teams of researchers in 17 countries who will conduct studies on “ambitious, applied social and behavioral science to combat the growing global threat posed by low COVID-19 vaccination rates and public health mis- and disinformation,” the Rockefeller Foundation said.

The Rockefeller Foundation and the SSRC claim the aim of the Mercury Project, whose name is derived from the ancient Roman god of messages and communication, is to bolster public health and safety.

However, some critics described the project as one based on “propaganda” aimed at “nudging” the unvaccinated to get vaccinated.

72 Percent of Los Angeles Students Fail to Meet Math Standards

September 14th, 2022

Via: Epoch Times:

More than half of students across all grade levels in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) failed to meet state testing standards in subjects like mathematics and English for the 2021–22 school year.

According to data released by the district Sept. 9, only about 42 percent of students met the state testing standards in English, while only 28 percent met standards for mathematics.

District officials said in a statement that these results were expected due to school lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic, which they said has “erased two decades of progress in math and reading.”

CDC Director Admits Agency Gave False Information on COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Monitoring

September 14th, 2022

Via: Epoch Times:

The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has acknowledged publicly for the first time that the agency gave false information about its COVID-19 vaccine safety monitoring.

Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the agency’s director, said in a letter made public on Sept. 12 that the CDC did not analyze certain types of adverse event reports at all in 2021, despite the agency previously saying it started in February 2021.

Nuclear War Between U.S. and Russia Would Cause 5 Billion People to Die – Of Hunger

September 14th, 2022

Via: Study Finds:

A nuclear war between the United States and Russia would cause a global famine, wiping out almost two-thirds of the world’s population, according to new research.

A team at Rutgers University say more than five billion people would die of hunger following a full-scale nuclear conflict. Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine has brought the threat back into reality for the first time in decades. The team’s study is based on computer simulations of such a conflict.

Models showed firestorms would release soot into the upper atmosphere that would block out the Sun, resulting in global crop failure. Nine nations currently control more than 13,000 nuclear weapons. Even a clash between new nuclear states would decimate food production and result in widespread starvation.

The U.S. team calculated soot dispersal from five smaller India-Pakistan wars and a large U.S.-Russia nuclear conflict, based on the size of each country’s arsenal. A climate forecasting tool called the Community Earth System Model enabled the team to estimate the effect on maize, rice, spring wheat, and soybean production country-by-country.

The researchers also examined projected changes to livestock pastures and marine fisheries. Results show that in a localized war between India and Pakistan, global average caloric production decreased seven percent within five years.

In the worst-case scenario involving the U.S. and Russia, this would rise to 90 percent three to four years after the fighting ended. Crop declines would be the most severe in the mid-to-high latitude nations, including major exporters such as Russia and America.

It could trigger supply restrictions and cause severe disruptions in import-dependent countries in Africa and the Middle East. These would induce a catastrophic disruption of global food markets. Even a seven percent decline would exceed the largest drops since records began in 1961.

DHS Head Mayorkas: ‘Radicalized’ Americans Who Believe ‘False Narratives’ Are The New Terror Threat

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Sunday used September 11th to declare that the “threat landscape has evolved” in the 21 years since 9/11 and the new threat the US faces is not foreign terrorists but Americans “radicalized” by an “ideology of hate,” “anti-government sentiment” and “false narratives propagated on online platforms.”

FDA Refuses to Provide Key COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Analyses

September 13th, 2022

Via: Epoch Times:

U.S. drug regulators are refusing to provide key analyses of a COVID-19 vaccine safety database, claiming that the factual findings cannot be separated by internal discussions protected by law.

The Epoch Times asked the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in July for all analyses performed by the agency for the COVID-19 vaccines using a method called Empirical Bayesian data mining, which involves comparing the adverse events recorded after a specific COVID-19 vaccine with those recorded after vaccination with non-COVID-19 vaccines.

According to operating procedures laid out by the agency and its partner in January 2021 and February 2022, the FDA would perform data mining “at least biweekly” to identify adverse events “reported more frequently than expected following vaccination with COVID-19 vaccines.” The agency would perform the mining on data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).

In a recent response, the FDA records office told The Epoch Times that it would not provide any of the analyses, even in redacted form.

White House Readies ‘Emergency Decree’ As Nationwide Rail Strike Looms

September 13th, 2022

Via: ZeroHedge:

President Biden and senior administration officials are working with others in the transportation industry, including truckers, shippers, and air freight, for “contingency plans” if a rail shutdown materializes at the end of the week, a White House official told Bloomberg.

The administration is trying to understand what supply chains could be disrupted the most — and how to utilize other forms of transportation to ensure commodities and consumer goods continue to flow across the country.

More than 100,000 railroad workers could walk off the job on Friday if freight-rail companies and unions don’t reach labor agreements.

We noted that 29% of all US freight moves on the rails. Half the cargo is bulk commodities, such as energy, food, chemicals, metals, and wood productions — the other half is shipping containers of consumer goods.

A work stoppage would cost the US economy $2 billion per day in supply chain disruptions. It wouldn’t be the best optics for the Biden administration ahead of the midterm elections.
