Tesla Model 3 Computer System Crashes as Vehicle Is Traveling 83MPH
April 13th, 2022Luckily, the brakes still worked…
What we’re seeing here is slipshod engineering that’s more akin to a buggy computer operating system than something like a high reliability glass cockpit from the aviation world. And even in aviation, we find the following:
Due to the possibility of a blackout, glass cockpit aircraft also have an integrated standby instrument system that includes (at a minimum) an artificial horizon, altimeter and airspeed indicator. It is electronically separate from the main instruments and can run for several hours on a backup battery.

The owner of a new Tesla Model 3 was left in shock after the car’s main features allegedly froze while he was driving on the freeway.
Javier Rodriguez of Irvine spoke with Eyewitness News on Tuesday and said it happened last Thursday while he was heading westbound on the 10 Freeway through Cabazon.
He said the car was stuck going 83 mph and the main screen was frozen.
He said all of the buttons and switches – including turn signals and hazard lights – were not working.
These People Deserve the Credit for the Deaths of Nearly a Million Americans
April 13th, 2022Via: Steve Kirsch:
The members of COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines Panel of the NIH apparently doesn’t seem to place any value on human life. In this article, I will show several examples of this.
At no time is there ever a risk-benefit analysis where a dollar amount is placed on the value of a human life. For example, if there are 100 trials and 90% of the trials were positive and 10% were neutral, should the NIH recommend the drug?
Unfortunately, they aren’t accountable to anyone, so they will never have to defend their recommendations.
Nearly a million people have died in the US due to their failure to correctly assess what the data says and recommend interventions that are more likely to be beneficial than detrimental.
What do they do instead? They recommend you take a vaccine that is more likely to kill you than save you.
Freedom Is Tyranny: Robert Reich Goes Full Orwellian in Anti-Free Speech Screed
April 13th, 2022Via: Jonathan Turley:
We recently discussed the gathering of Democratic politicians and media figures at the University of Chicago to discuss how to better shape news, combat “disinformation,” and reeducate those with conservative views. The political and media elite shared ideas on how to expand censorship and control what people read or viewed in the news. The same figures are now alarmed that Elon Musk could gain greater influence over Twitter and, perish the thought, restore free speech protections to the site. The latest is former labor secretary under President Clinton, Robert Reich, who wrote a perfectly Orwellian column in the Guardian titled “Elon Musk’s vision for the internet is dangerous nonsense.” However, the column offers an insight into the anti-free speech mentality that has taken hold of the Democratic party and the mainstream media.
Georgia Gov. Kemp Signs ‘Constitutional Carry’ Bill Into Law
April 13th, 2022Via: Epoch Times:
Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp on Tuesday signed a bill into law that immediately allows permitless handgun carry for most residents in the state.
The measure, Senate Bill 319, dubbed the Georgia Constitutional Carry Act, passed the legislature April 1 mainly along party lines.
It allows residents to carry a concealed a firearm without a license, with the exception of people convicted of a felony, or those have been treated for certain mental health issues within the past five years.
The Republican governor said at a signing ceremony that the new law allows Georgians “to protect themselves without having to have permission from your state government.”
Racist Math [???]
April 13th, 2022Via: Jonathan Turley:
We previously discussed the view of University of Rhode Island and Director of Graduate Studies of History Erik Loomis that “Science, statistics, and technology are all inherently racist.” Others have agreed with that view, including denouncing math as racist or a “tool of whiteness.” Now, as part of its “decolonization” efforts, Durham University is calling on professors in the math department to ask themselves if they’re citing work from “mostly white or male” mathematicians.

EPA Ignores Own Science, Plans to Reapprove Deadly Neonicotinoid Pesticides
April 12th, 2022Via: The Defender:
Recent coverage by The Guardian of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) plan — to extend the registration of several demonstrably harmful neonicotinoid insecticides — compels Beyond Pesticides to identify, once again, the agency’s failures to enact its core mission.
That mission is “to protect human health and the environment,” and to ensure that “national efforts to reduce environmental risks are based on the best available scientific information.”
EPA has undertaken a review of the registration of several members of the neonicotinoid (neonic) family of pesticides and, despite the agency’s own findings of evidence of serious threats to pollinators, aquatic invertebrates, and other wildlife, it issued interim decisions on these neonics in January 2020 that disregard the science on the pesticides’ impacts.
EPA appears to be prepared to finalize these registrations late in 2022; this would, barring further action, extend the use of these harmful compounds for 15 years.
