“Great Reset” Mastermind Suggests Risk Assessment “Brain Scans” Before Allowing Travel

November 19th, 2020

Via: Summit News:

“Great Reset” mastermind Klaus Schwab suggests a number of draconian measures for controlling the population under the umbrella of the ‘4th Industrial Revolution’, including risk-assessment brain scans to cross borders and implantable chips to read people’s thoughts.

The globalist also goes beyond merely the mandating of vaccine certificates to travel, suggesting that, “Even crossing a national border might one day involve a detailed brain scan to assess an individual’s security risk.”

He also makes clear that implantable microchips will be the cornerstone of a transhumanist agenda that will merge man with machine.

“Today’s external devices—from wearable computers to virtual reality headsets—will almost certainly become implantable in our bodies and brains,” he writes.

“Active implantable microchips that break the skin barrier of our bodies” will “change how we interface with the world” and force us “to question what it means to be human,” according to Schwab.

Such technology could also facilitate the expression of “potentially unexpressed thoughts or moods by reading brain waves and other signals,” according to Schwab.

Schwab suggests that the population could be encouraged to adopt brain-reading chips as part of a business model that involves someone “trading access to his or her thoughts for the time-saving option of typing a social media post by thought alone.”

Is This the End of College as We Know It?

November 18th, 2020

Via: Wall Street Journal:

Rachael Wittern earned straight As in high school, a partial scholarship to college and then a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. She is now 33 years old, lives in Tampa, earns $94,000 a year as a psychologist and says her education wasn’t worth the cost. She carries $300,000 in student debt.

Dr. Wittern’s 37-year-old husband worked in a warehouse for several years before becoming an apprentice electrician. He expects to earn comparable money when he’s finished—minus the debt. When and if they have children, Dr. Wittern says her advice will be to follow her husband’s path and avoid a four-year degree.

Coronavirus Forced Vaccination Law in Denmark Abandoned After Public Protests

November 18th, 2020

Via: Summit News:

A law in Denmark that would have given authorities the power to forcibly inject people with a coronavirus vaccine has been abandoned after nine days of public protests.

The ‘epidemic law’ would have handed the Danish government the power to enact mandatory quarantine measures against anyone infected with a dangerous disease, but it was the part about vaccinations that caused the biggest uproar.

New Research Adds Evidence That Glyphosate Disrupts Hormones

November 17th, 2020

Via: Children’s Health Defense:

New research is adding worrisome evidence to concerns that the widely used weed-killing chemical glyphosate may have the potential to interfere with human hormones.

In a paper published in the journal Chemosphere, Glyphosate and the key characteristics of an endocrine disruptor: a review, a trio of scientists concluded that glyphosate appears to have eight out of 10 key characteristics associated with endocrine disrupting chemicals. The authors cautioned, however, that prospective cohort studies are still needed to more clearly understand the impacts of glyphosate on the human endocrine system.

The authors, Juan Munoz, Tammy Bleak and Gloria Calaf, each affiliated with the University of Tarapacá in Chile, said their paper is the first review to consolidate the mechanistic evidence on glyphosate as an endocrine-disrupting chemical (EDC).

Some of the evidence suggests that Roundup, Monsanto’s well-known glyphosate-based herbicide, can alter the biosynthesis of the sexual hormones, according to the researchers.

EDCs may mimic or interfere with the body’s hormones and are linked with developmental and reproductive problems as well as brain and immune system dysfunction.

The new paper follows publication earlier this year of an assortment of animal studies that indicated glyphosate exposures impact reproductive organs and threaten fertility.

Don’t Blame Covid: The Economy Is Imploding from Over-Capacity and Corrupt Cartels

November 16th, 2020

Via: Of Two Minds:

Now that the bubble has burst, the hope is that removing the pin will magically restore the burst bubble. Sorry, it doesn’t work that way.

Here’s the fantasy: if we stop the shutdowns, the economy will naturally bounce back to its oh-so wunnerful perfection of Q3 2019. This is a double-dose of magical thinking and denial. The U.S. economy was unraveling in 2019 from 11 long years of Fed-induced over-capacity in almost everything (except integrity, competition, transparency and social cohesion) and the bone-crushing burden of corrupt, greedy cartels that have the nation by the throat.

“Imperialism In Pumps”

November 16th, 2020

I love the illustration that ZeroHedge included with this:

Via: ZeroHedge:

Independent commentator Caitlin Johnstone is raining on the parade of Liberals and Progressives who are hailing “barriers being broken” merely because Joe Biden is expected to pick a woman for the top Pentagon post in a historic first, blasting the spectacle as “Imperialism in Pumps” given presumed top choice Michele Flournoy hails from deep within the heart of the hawkish military-industrial complex.

“President-elect Joe Biden is expected to take a historic step and select a woman to head the Pentagon for the first time, shattering one of the few remaining barriers to women in the department and the presidential Cabinet,” the Associated Press reported gushingly this weekend.

Apparently the “politically moderate” Flournoy is being viewed favorably by “political insiders” and career Pentagon officials.

But as a reminder here’s what “moderate” means in establishment NatSec-speak:

Seen as a steady hand who favors strong military cooperation abroad, Flournoy, 59, has served multiple times in the Pentagon, starting in the 1990s and most recently as the undersecretary of defense for policy from 2009 to 2012. She serves on the board of Booz Allen Hamilton, a defense contractor…

Johnstone is unscathing in her attack on the media and Liberal cheerleading:

This word “moderate” which the AP news agency keeps bleating is of course complete nonsense. Standing in the middle ground between two corporatist warmongering parties does not make you a moderate, it makes you a corporatist warmonger. Flournoy is no more “moderate” than the “moderate rebels” in Syria which mass media outlets like AP praised for years until it became undeniable that they were largely Al Qaeda affiliates; the only reason such a position can be portrayed as mainstream and moderate is because vast fortunes have been poured into making it that way.

How the U.S. Military Buys Location Data from Ordinary Apps

November 16th, 2020

Via: Vice:

The U.S. military is buying the granular movement data of people around the world, harvested from innocuous-seeming apps, Motherboard has learned. The most popular app among a group Motherboard analyzed connected to this sort of data sale is a Muslim prayer and Quran app that has more than 98 million downloads worldwide. Others include a Muslim dating app, a popular Craigslist app, an app for following storms, and a “level” app that can be used to help, for example, install shelves in a bedroom.

Through public records, interviews with developers, and technical analysis, Motherboard uncovered two separate, parallel data streams that the U.S. military uses, or has used, to obtain location data. One relies on a company called Babel Street, which creates a product called Locate X. U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), a branch of the military tasked with counterterrorism, counterinsurgency, and special reconnaissance, bought access to Locate X to assist on overseas special forces operations. The other stream is through a company called X-Mode, which obtains location data directly from apps, then sells that data to contractors, and by extension, the military.
