The Great Reset

What is “the Great Reset”?
The Great Reset is a massively funded, desperately ambitious, internationally coordinated project led by some of the biggest multinational corporations and financial players on the planet and carried out by cooperating state bodies and NGOs. Its soul is a combination of early 20th century science fiction, idyllic Soviet posters, the obsessiveness of a deranged accountant with a gambling addiction—and an upgraded, digital version of “Manifest Destiny.”
The mathematical reason for the Great Reset is that thanks to technology, the planet has gotten small, and the infinite expansion economic model is bust—but obviously, the super wealthy want to continue staying super wealthy, and so they need a miracle, another bubble, plus a surgically precise system for managing what they perceive as “their limited resources.” Thus, they desperately want a bubble providing new growth out of thin air—literally—while simultaneously they seek to tighten the peasants’ belts, an effort that starts with “behavioral modification,” a.k.a. resetting the western peasants’ sense of entitlement to high life standards and liberties (see awful “privilege”).
National Guard Troops Arrive In Multiple U.S. Cities Ahead Of Election Night Chaos
November 2nd, 2020Via: ZeroHedge:
In preparation for any emergencies, including widespread social unrest following election results on Tuesday night, the National Guard has been deployed in several states.
Fears of election night chaos have gripped state governments for the last month, forcing Gov. Charlie Baker of Massachusetts on Monday to “activate” 1,000 Massachusetts National Guard members.
And in Oregon, Gov. Kate Brown, for the second time in two months, declared a state of emergency for the Portland metro area, citing potential social unrest surrounding the election.
Governors have also mobilized Guard forces in Texas, Alabama, and Arizona to major cities in their respective states in anticipation of violence.
Last week, the Pennsylvania National Guard was deployed to the Philadelphia metro area amid a couple of nights of social unrest following the police killing of a black man. Guard troops have been since positioned to handle potential unrest come Tuesday night.
According to NBC sources, at the White House, beginning tomorrow, a “non-scalable” fence will be erected around the complex with 250 Guard troops on standby.
As of Monday afternoon, Guard troops have been spotted in several cities, preparing for Tuesday night.
‘Non-Scalable’ Fence Going Up Around White House [???]

Federal agents are planning to erect a fence around the White House on Monday, on the eve of Election Day, according to NBC News reporter Geoff Bennett and CNN.
A federal law-enforcement source told Bennett that “crews will build a ‘non-scalable’ fence” on Monday “to secure the [White House] complex, Ellipse, and Lafayette Square,” Bennett tweeted late Sunday.
Danish Military Intelligence Uses XKEYSCORE to Tap Cables in Cooperation with NSA
November 2nd, 2020Via: Electrospaces:
In an extensive piece from September 13, the renowned Danish newspaper Berlingske (founded in 1749) describes how the FE, in cooperation with the NSA, started to tap an international telecommunications cable in order to gather foreign intelligence.
In the mid-1990s, the NSA had found out that somewhere under Copenhagen there was a backbone cable containing phone calls, e-mails and text messages from and to countries like China and Russia, which was of great interest for the Americans.
Tapping that cable, however, was almost impossible without the help of the Danes, so the NSA asked the FE for access to the cable, but this request was denied, according to Berlingske.
Agreement with the United States
The US government did not give up, and in a letter sent directly to the Danish prime minister Poul Nyrup Rasmussen, US president Clinton asked his Danish colleague to reconsider the decision. And Nyrup, who was a sworn supporter of a close relationship with the US, said yes.
The cooperation was laid down in a document, which, according to Berlingske, all Danish defense ministers had to sign “so that any new minister could see that his predecessor – and his predecessors before his predecessors – with their signatures had been part of this small, exclusive circle of people who knew one of the kingdom’s biggest secrets.”
The code name for this cooperation is not known, but it’s most likely part of the NSA’s umbrella program RAMPART-A. Under this program, which started in 1992, foreign partners provide access to high-capacity international fiber-optic cables, while the US provides the equipment for transport, processing and analysis…

Starlink Beta Begins
November 1st, 2020$99 per month for 50 to 150 Mbits/sec download with (apparently) “unlimited” datacap… In the middle of nowhere.
If you’re interested in the very latest on Starlink, check out the subreddit. There are several people posting about their experiences.
In short: Even in beta, the service is already outstanding.
Via: Ars Technica:
Expect to see data speeds vary from 50Mbps to 150Mbps and latency from 20ms to 40ms over the next several months as we enhance the Starlink system. There will also be brief periods of no connectivity at all.
As we launch more satellites, install more ground stations, and improve our networking software, data speed, latency, and uptime will improve dramatically. For latency, we expect to achieve 16ms to 19ms by summer 2021.
The Starlink phased-array user terminal, which is more advanced than what’s in fighter jets, plus mounting tripod and Wi-Fi router, costs $499 and the monthly subscription costs $99.
Intermittent Fasting from Dawn to Sunset Induces Anticancer Serum Proteome Response
October 30th, 2020Via: Scientific Reports:
Subjects had a significant reduction in body mass index, waist circumference, and improvement in blood pressure that co-occurred with the anticancer, anti-diabetes, and anti-aging serum proteome response. These findings suggest that intermittent fasting from dawn to sunset actively modulates the respective genes and can be an adjunct treatment in metabolic syndrome.

Walmart Pulls Guns and Ammo from Store Displays, Citing Potential “Civil Unrest”
October 29th, 2020Via: CBS:
Walmart on Thursday said it has pulled guns and ammunition from the sales floors of its U.S. stores as it seeks to keep firearms from being stolen should social unrest erupt.
“We have seen some isolated civil unrest, and as we have done on several occasions over the last few years, we have moved our firearms and ammunition off the sales floor as a precaution for the safety of our associates and customers,” a Walmart spokesperson said in an email to CBS MoneyWatch. “These items do remain available for purchase by customers.”
Greenwald Resigns from The Intercept Over Attempted Suppression of Joe and Hunter Biden Information
October 29th, 2020Via: Glenn Greenwald:
Today I sent my intention to resign from The Intercept, the news outlet I co-founded in 2013 with Jeremy Scahill and Laura Poitras, as well as from its parent company First Look Media.
The final, precipitating cause is that The Intercept’s editors, in violation of my contractual right of editorial freedom, censored an article I wrote this week, refusing to publish it unless I remove all sections critical of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, the candidate vehemently supported by all New-York-based Intercept editors involved in this effort at suppression.
The censored article, based on recently revealed emails and witness testimony, raised critical questions about Biden’s conduct. Not content to simply prevent publication of this article at the media outlet I co-founded, these Intercept editors also demanded that I refrain from exercising a separate contractual right to publish this article with any other publication.

Police Department in Georgia: Response to 911 Calls Could Include Drones
October 29th, 2020Via: Atlanta Journal Constitution:
Brookhaven will become the first city in the southeast to adopt a first responder program that uses unmanned drones to respond to 911 calls, emergencies and to conduct investigations.
On Tuesday night, the city approved funding for the Brookhaven Police Department’s UAS (unmanned aerial system) unit, which will consist of four drones. Police will be able to deploy them to witness crimes in progress, document crime scenes or provide a bird’s eye view for officers on the ground.
Not every 911 call will be answered with a drone, but Brookhaven police said the project will give its officers more flexibility, availability and information, while limiting in-person contact amid the coronavirus pandemic.
