U.S. Marine Veteran Built Cocaine Pipeline as Mexican Drug Kingpin
March 1st, 2019Via: MSN:
A U.S. Marine veteran who rose to power as a reputed Mexican drug kingpin has been named in a massive cocaine-trafficking indictment in San Diego.
The investigation into Angel Dominguez Ramirez Jr.’s organization revealed “an unprecedented level of corruption within the Mexican government, local police departments, federal police agencies and military,” the U.S. attorney’s office said in a recent court filing.
More than 41 people have been charged in the case, which has yielded 5,000 kilograms, or about 11,000 pounds, of seized cocaine and more than $9 million in drug proceeds.
Dominguez’s organization sourced cocaine from Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, up through Central America and into Chiapas, Mexico, according to prosecutors. Transportation cells would move the cocaine into Mexico using boats, aircraft and commercial vehicles, then over the California and Texas borders for distribution into the United States, the court filing says.
The organization also used a reverse pipeline to move drug proceeds from the U.S. back south, according to the indictment, which was partially unsealed this week.
Dominguez, arrested in Mexico in 2016, is awaiting extradition to San Diego.
HHS Extends Contract to Make ‘Humanized Mice’ with Aborted Baby Parts for Another 90 Days
March 1st, 2019I wonder: What is the real goal of the chimera research?
When I’ve made the mistake of mentioning chimera research to people, they think I’m insane and that it can’t be true. It can’t be happening.

The Department of Health and Human Services says it has granted a second 90-day extension to a contract it has with the University of California at San Francisco that requires UCSF to make “humanized mice.”
These creatures are made by implanting mice with human tissues taken from late-term aborted babies.
The HHS’s multi-million-dollar contract with UCSF that requires the construction of these “humanized mice” creates a demand–driven by federal tax dollars–for tissue taken from late-term aborted babies. According to an estimate it has published on its website, the National Institutes of Health (which is a division of HHS) will spend $95 million this fiscal year alone on research that–like UCSF’s “humanized mouse” contract–uses human fetal tissue.
Under the new 90-day extension, the contract—which the government calls “Humanized Mouse Models for HIV Therapeutics Development”–will run through June 5.
HHS also is still in the process of conducting the “comprehensive review” it announced last September “of all research involving fetal tissue.”
When Does Intelligence Peak?
March 1st, 2019Via: Scientific American:
When does cognitive functioning peak? As we get older, we certainly feel as though our intelligence is rapidly declining. (Well, at least I do!) However, the nitty gritty research on the topic suggests some really interesting nuance. As a recent paper notes, “Not only is there no age at which humans are performing at peak on all cognitive tasks, there may not be an age at which humans perform at peak on most cognitive tasks.”
In one large series of studies, Joshua Hartshorne and Laura Germine presented evidence from 48, 537 people from standardized IQ and memory tests. The results revealed that processing speed and short-term memory for family pictures and stories peak and begin to decline around high school graduation; some visual-spatial and abstract reasoning abilities plateau in early adulthood, beginning to decline in the 30s; and still other cognitive functions such as vocabulary and general information do not peak until people reach their 40s or later.
The Next Mandatory Vaccine Battleground: Homeschool Children

As we have frequently reported here at Health Impact News, legislative efforts are underway in many states to remove parental choice for childhood vaccines, with new proposed bills removing religious and philosophical exemptions to childhood vaccines which are mandated as a requirement for school attendance.

U.S. Companies Put Record Number of Robots to Work in 2018
February 28th, 2019Via: Reuters:
U.S. companies installed more robots last year than ever before, as cheaper and more flexible machines put them within reach of businesses of all sizes and in more corners of the economy beyond their traditional foothold in car plants.
Shipments hit 28,478, nearly 16 percent more than in 2017, according to data seen by Reuters that was set for release on Thursday by the Association for Advancing Automation, an industry group based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Shipments increased in every sector the group tracks, except automotive, where carmakers cut back after finishing a major round of tooling up for new truck models.

Third Most Powerful Man in the Vatican Convicted Sexual Abuse of a Child
February 25th, 2019Year after year.
Decade after decade.
Century after century.
Countless atrocities piled upon countless atrocities.
Maybe a re-brand is necessary.
How about: The Catholic Church of Satan?
Via: Guardian:
Cardinal George Pell, once the third most powerful man in the Vatican and Australia’s most senior Catholic, has been found guilty of child sexual abuse after a trial in Melbourne.
A jury delivered the unanimous verdict on 11 December in Melbourne’s county court, but the result was subject to a suppression order and could not be reported until now.
A previous trial on the same five charges, which began in August, resulted in a hung jury, leading to a retrial.
Pell, who is on leave from his role in Rome as Vatican treasurer, was found guilty of sexually penetrating a child under the age of 16 as well as four charges of an indecent act with a child under the age of 16. The offences occurred in December 1996 and early 1997 at St Patrick’s Cathedral, months after Pell was inaugurated as archbishop of Melbourne.
John Childs: Billionaire Private Equity Firm Owner and Major Republican Donor Charged in the Florida Prostitution Sting
February 24th, 2019Via: Business Insider:
The billionaire owner of a Massachusetts-based private equity firm has been wrapped up in a massive prostitution scandal that has already ensnared the likes of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and former Citigroup executive John Havens.
John Childs, the 77-year-old founder of J.W. Childs Associates, has been charged with solicitation of prostitution, according to the Vero Beach Police Department in Florida.
Childs is one of 173 people charged as part of a sweeping, six-month criminal investigation into multiple massage parlors across several Florida jurisdictions.
As of Friday afternoon, Childs hadn’t been arrested. He told Bloomberg News in an interview he hadn’t even been contacted by police.
“The accusation of solicitation of prostitution is totally false,” he said. “I have retained a lawyer.”
Are We On The Road to Civilization Collapse?
February 24th, 2019Via: BBC:
Collapse is often quick and greatness provides no immunity. The Roman Empire covered 4.4 million sq km (1.9 million sq miles) in 390. Five years later, it had plummeted to 2 million sq km (770,000 sq miles). By 476, the empire’s reach was zero.
Our deep past is marked by recurring failure. As part of my research at the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk at the University of Cambridge, I am attempting to find out why collapse occurs through a historical autopsy. What can the rise and fall of historic civilisations tell us about our own? What are the forces that precipitate or delay a collapse? And do we see similar patterns today?
…
Think of civilisation as a poorly-built ladder. As you climb, each step that you used falls away. A fall from a height of just a few rungs is fine. Yet the higher you climb, the larger the fall. Eventually, once you reach a sufficient height, any drop from the ladder is fatal.
With the proliferation of nuclear weapons, we may have already reached this point of civilisational “terminal velocity”. Any collapse – any fall from the ladder – risks being permanent.
