In South Australia, Teslaâs 100MW/ 129MWh Powerpack project is known as âthe most powerful battery system in the worldâ and while this proposal in Colorado would not be as powerful with a power capacity of 75 MW, it would be able to run for 4 hours, which would require a much bigger energy capacity of 300 MWh.

Itâs a published study that appears on the website of the prestigious Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America.
The title of the study is, âOxytocin-enforced norm compliance reduces xenophobic outgroup rejection.â (Reference: Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A. 2017 Aug 29;114(35):9314-9319.)
Xenophobia is defined as: âfear or hatred of foreigners, people from different cultures, or strangers.â (Dictionary.com)
Oxytocin, the chemical used in this study, is described by Medical News Today: âWidely referred to as the love hormone, oxytocin has also been dubbed the hug hormone, cuddle chemical, moral molecule, and the bliss hormone due to its effects on behavior, including its role in love and in female reproductive biological functions in reproduction.â
âOxytocin is a hormone that is made in the brain, in the hypothalamus. It is transported to, and secreted by, the pituitary gland, which is located at the base of the brain.â
The published study details a successful attempt at chemical mind control. The goal is making people more âhappy and friendlyâ about mass migration, by changing their hormonal response toward migrants.
Nothing in the study cites inherent migration problems, such as increased violent crime, back-breaking financial pressure on government budgets, and the eroding of local cultures. Itâs all about shifting feeling and reaction toward waves of immigrants.

So what really happened to Mark and Scott Kelly? It turns out that big changes in the expression of Scott Kelly’s genes occurred while he was in space, and 7 percent of those changes persisted after he returned to Earth, lead author Susan Bailey, a researcher at Colorado State University, who led the research on Kelly, told Nat Geo’s Nadia Drake. What that means is that his body quieted some of his genes while amplifying others, so that his body produced more or less of certain key proteins in an attempt to adjust to the weird conditions of space and microgravity â not, as our original story claimed, that his DNA actually changed.

Scott and Mark Kelly are identical twin brothers â at least, they were until Scott spent a year living in space.
When Scott Kelly returned to Earth after a 340-day voyage aboard the International Space Station (ISS) two years ago, he was 2 inches taller than he’d been when he left. His body mass had decreased, his gut bacteria were completely different, and â according to preliminary findings from NASA researchers â his genetic code had changed significantly. (Interestingly, Scott Kelly has since shrunk back down to his initial prespaceflight height.)
A new NASA statement suggests the physical and mental stresses of Scott Kelly’s year in orbit may have activated hundreds of “space genes” that altered the astronaut’s immune system, bone formation, eyesight and other bodily processes. While most of these genetic changes reverted to normal following Scott Kelly’s return to Earth, about 7 percent of the astronaut’s genetic code remained altered â and it may stay that way permanently.
YouTube Will Add Information from Wikipedia to Videos About Conspiracies

YouTube will add information from Wikipedia to videos about popular conspiracy theories to provide alternative viewpoints on controversial subjects, its CEO said today. YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki said that these text boxes, which the company is calling âinformation cues,â would begin appearing on conspiracy-related videos within the next couple of weeks.
Wojcicki, who spoke Tuesday evening at a panel at the South by Southwest Interactive festival in Austin, showed examples of information cues for videos about the moon landing and chemtrails. âWhen there are videos that are focused around something thatâs a conspiracy â and weâre using a list of well-known internet conspiracies from Wikipedia â then we will show a companion unit of information from Wikipedia showing that here is information about the event,â Wojcicki said.
Flying Taxis to be Trialled in New Zealand

A network of self-piloted, flying taxis will be trialled in New Zealand, in a partnership with the government.
Airways, New Zealand’s air navigation service provider confirmed the trial and said it will develop a nationwide unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) traffic management system which will integrate the flying taxis.
The New York Times reported that a company funded by Google’s co-founder Larry Page, Zephyr Airworks, has been testing the drone-like electric aircraft called Cora in the South Island, and that the company will today make a joint announcement with the Prime Minister about the next phase.
The aim now is to gain aviation certification for the flying taxis.
VW’s Spending Plan for Batteries Exceeds Tesla’s Orders by More Than 40%

The worldâs largest carmaker will equip 16 factories to produce electric vehicles by the end of 2022, compared with three currently, Volkswagen said Tuesday in Berlin. The German manufacturerâs plans to build as many as 3 million of the cars a year by 2025 is backstopped by deals with suppliers including Samsung SDI Co., LG Chem Ltd. and Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd. for batteries in Europe and China.

As CIA director Mike Pompeo moves to become the United Statesâ secretary of state, deputy director Gina Haspel has been nominated to lead the agency. If confirmed by the Senate, she will become the first woman to run the CIA.
Haspelâs nomination will be controversial; she played a leading role (paywall) in running a US torture site abroad and later destroyed the evidence of it.
In 2002, she oversaw a secret prison in Thailand that tortured two terrorism suspects. That torture took place within the CIAâs âextraordinary renditionâ program, in which suspected terrorists are sent to US allies, and interrogated in âblack sitesâ on their soil.
One of the men, known as Abu Zubayda, was waterboarded 83 times in one month and was slammed into walls by the head. He was deprived of sleep and kept in a coffin-like box. Interrogators later decided he didnât have any useful information.
TSA Laptop and Phone Searches on Domestic Flights

There are a growing number of reports of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) searching the electronic devices of passengers on domestic flights in the US, according to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), which has sued the federal agency for records.
The ACLU Foundation of Northern California filed a lawsuit against the TSA on Monday demanding that the government disclose its policies for searching the computers and cellphones of domestic travelers, arguing that anecdotal accounts have raised concerns about potential privacy invasions.
âWeâve received reports of passengers on purely domestic flights having their phones and laptops searched, and the takeaway is that TSA has been taking these items from people without providing any reason why,â the staff attorney Vasudha Talla told the Guardian. âThe search of an electronic device has the potential to be highly invasive and cover the most personal details about a person.â

China Formally Becomes Dictatorship, Again

China has approved the removal of term limits for its leader, in a move that effectively allows Xi Jinping to remain as president for life.
The constitutional changes were passed by China’s annual sitting of the National People’s Congress on Sunday.
The vote was widely regarded as a rubber-stamping exercise. Two delegates voted against the change and three abstained, out of 2,964 votes.
China had imposed a two-term limit on its president since the 1990s.
But Mr Xi, who would have been due to step down in 2023, defied the tradition of presenting a potential successor during October’s Communist Party Congress.
Instead, he consolidated his political power as the party voted to enshrine his name and political ideology in the party’s constitution – elevating his status to the level of its founder, Chairman Mao.
