“Obama Administration Asks CIA to Prepare Revenge Cyber Attack Against Russia”

October 15th, 2016

This is Dr. Strangelove level madness.

Via: Independent:

The White House is considering launching an unprecedented cyber attack against Russia in retaliation for their alleged interference in the US election, intelligence officials say.

Current and former officials have said that the CIA has been asked to deliver options for “clandestine” cyber operations designed to “embarrass” the Russian government.

The anonymous officials told NBC News the CIA were already operating cyber doors, selecting targets and making other preparations for an operation.

The source said they had already gathered information that could potentially expose wrongdoing by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Inside the Secret Society of Wall Street’s Top In-House Lawyers

October 15th, 2016

I’m sure no planning for future crimes happens at these meetings. 😉

Via: Bloomberg:

It’s a Wall Street club that’s virtually unknown on Wall Street. It has no name or official membership list, and it meets only once a year, in locations such as Switzerland’s Lake Lucerne, Connecticut’s Litchfield County, and, this year, Versailles.

The attendees are top in-house lawyers for some of the world’s most powerful banks — people who sit at the table for decisions that can shape multibillion-dollar litigation tabs for the likes of Barclays Plc, Citigroup Inc., Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Deutsche Bank AG and JPMorgan Chase & Co.

For this year’s meeting, in late May, the lawyers descended on Trianon Palace Versailles, a luxury hotel less than two kilometers from the palace of Louis XIV and adjacent to the royal park.

The gatherings, which were described by several people familiar with them who asked not to be identified, tend to feature discussions of nuts-and-bolts issues such as managing relationships with the board and whether compliance personnel should receive stock incentives.
Sticking Together

This year, according to two of the people, some attendees arrived at the marble and gilded hotel primed to focus on a common scourge: class-action lawyers who seek billions of dollars from top banks for alleged market manipulations and related bad behavior. Eric Grossman, chief legal officer at Morgan Stanley, implored his confederates to hang together and resist the temptation to settle quickly.

Podesta Emails: Tom Delonge / Open Thread

October 13th, 2016

You might have noticed that I haven’t been posting much over the last few days. That’s because I’ve been tumbling down the the Wikileaks Podesta email dump rabbit hole.

Weeks ago, I mentioned that I was working on a post related to PSYOP around the UFO issue:

I’m preparing a post about a shill for black world interests with regard to the UFO issue. I’m in the process of reading a 700+ page book that is a part of this individual’s media campaign.

That shill is Tom Delonge, and the book is called, Sekret Machines Book 1: Chasing Shadows. If you have been researching the UFO/alien issue, even casually, that book contains nothing that you haven’t seen already. It’s a passable novel, but if you’re after “disclosure,” it’s not in there.

I’ve spent a lot of hours going through Tom’s nonsense so you don’t have to, but I haven’t yet been able to figure out where’s he’s going (or being told to go) with all of this. If you don’t want to wait, you can do simple searches on Tom Delonge and the red flags are everywhere.

William Bramley warns:

Detecting Brotherhood involvement in human events is sometimes tricky. The job is made easier by following the use of several of the Brotherhood’s most important mystical symbols. Those symbols act as colored threads weaving in and out of view by which we can trace the role of the Brotherhood network in shaping history. One of the most significant of the symbols is, curiously, an apron.

Here’s Tom wearing his apron:

tom_delonge

To put it politely, my guess is that the truth about UFOs isn’t going to come out of a guy wearing one of those aprons. Never mind his shiny new coffee cup, which he shows off with pride on his Facebook page.

There’s a lot more about Delonge that reeks, which you’ll find easily. The interviews alone will take you hours to go through, and he manages to say nothing at all that’s interesting.

Who cares? What’s different about Tom Delonge’s UFO bullshit compared to the average nonsense at a UFO conference? The difference is Delonge’s links to the Clintons.

I’m mentioning Delonge now because I want to ask your help finding something which he has been actively trying to disappear for the last couple of days. There was a video mentioned here:

vimeo.com/145495599

Someone on 4chan tried to post it to YouTube but Tom swiftly had it removed. Posts on other chans indicate that the video is being actively cleansed.

Hint to the kids trying to mirror the video on commercial sites: Use bittorrent instead. They can’t stop that.

Hubble Reveals Observable Universe Contains 10 Times More Galaxies Than Previously Thought

October 13th, 2016

Via: NASA:

The universe suddenly looks a lot more crowded, thanks to a deep-sky census assembled from surveys taken by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope and other observatories.

Astronomers came to the surprising conclusion that there are at least 10 times more galaxies in the observable universe than previously thought.

In analyzing the data, a team led by Christopher Conselice of the University of Nottingham, U.K., found that 10 times as many galaxies were packed into a given volume of space in the early universe than found today. Most of these galaxies were relatively small and faint, with masses similar to those of the satellite galaxies surrounding the Milky Way. As they merged to form larger galaxies the population density of galaxies in space dwindled. This means that galaxies are not evenly distributed throughout the universe’s history, the research team reports in a paper to be published in The Astrophysical Journal.

“Scientists Plan to Create ‘Asgardia’ Nation State in Space”

October 13th, 2016

Via: BBC:

A group of scientists is launching what they say will be a new pacifist nation-state in space.

Asgardia “will become a place in orbit which is truly ‘no man’s land’,” its website says.

The new “nation” aims to launch its first satellite late next year and hopes to one day be recognised by the UN.

But some experts have cast doubt on the viability of the plan, given international law prohibits national sovereignty claims in outer space.

“Citizens” of Asgardia, who will be scrutinised before admission, will eventually obtain passports, says Lena de Winne, a senior member of the project team who worked for the European Space Agency for 15 years.

“Clearly it’s difficult to wrap your head around the concept [of] how can you be a citizen of something you cannot put your foot on,” she told the BBC.

“But I’m a citizen of the Netherlands and I’m now in Paris… There is nothing unusual about it if you are a citizen of a land where you don’t live and where you don’t go.”

The project is being directed by the Vienna-based Aerospace International Research Center, a private company founded by Russian scientist and businessman Dr Igor Ashurbeiyli.

He joked to reporters in Paris at an event announcing the project that he would not be surprised if the media labelled him a “crazy Russian rocket scientist” talking “utter nonsense”.

Its website says the new nation, the name of which derives from a city in the sky in Norse mythology, “will offer an independent platform free from the constraint of a land-based country’s laws”.

The group says it will open up new opportunities in space for commerce, science and “peoples of all countries on earth”.

Pentagon Video Warns of “Unavoidable” Dystopian Future for World’s Biggest Cities

October 13th, 2016

Via: The Intercept:

The year is 2030. Forget about the flying cars, robot maids, and moving sidewalks we were promised. They’re not happening. But that doesn’t mean the future is a total unknown.

According to a startling Pentagon video obtained by The Intercept, the future of global cities will be an amalgam of the settings of “Escape from New York” and “Robocop” — with dashes of the “Warriors” and “Divergent” thrown in. It will be a world of Robert Kaplan-esque urban hellscapes — brutal and anarchic supercities filled with gangs of youth-gone-wild, a restive underclass, criminal syndicates, and bands of malicious hackers.

At least that’s the scenario outlined in “Megacities: Urban Future, the Emerging Complexity,” a five-minute video that has been used at the Pentagon’s Joint Special Operations University. All that stands between the coming chaos and the good people of Lagos and Dhaka (or maybe even New York City) is the U.S. Army, according to the video, which The Intercept obtained via the Freedom of Information Act.

Tesla Dominates U.S. Luxury Car Market

October 12th, 2016

Disruption:

A disruptive innovation is an innovation that creates a new market and value network and eventually disrupts an existing market and value network, displacing established market leading firms, products and alliances.

Via: Electrek:

Tesla shocked the industry earlier this year when it confirmed having delivered 25,202 Model S sedans in the U.S. in 2015, which gave the company a 25% market share in the premium sedan market. For the first time, Tesla had surpassed market leaders like BMW and Mercedes. Furthermore, every single other large luxury sedan has seen its sales decrease during the same period.

Now the electric automaker is increasing its lead on the US luxury sedan market to such a point that the Model S is now twice as popular as the Mercedes S-Class or the BMW 7-Series. Tesla is literally selling more all-electric sedans in the US than Mercedes and BMW are selling S-Class and 7-Series combined.

Shine Your Love – Tiki Taane – Greenpeace Stop the Solar Tax Petition Delivery

October 12th, 2016

Disclosure: I sell solar power systems in NZ.

Here’s what the message to the electricity retailers and grid operators in NZ should be:

You solar tax me, I disconnect from the grid.

I signed the petition referenced in the video below, but the reality is that petitions typically don’t accomplish anything. How many petitions would it take to convince Darth Vader to stop using the Death Star to blow up planets?

To wit:

The Electricity Authority has given Unison the green light for their solar tax.

These guys aren’t very smart, so keep it simple:

Solar Tax = Grid Defection.

I love the freaks tossing their paper suns around, etc., but grid defection and the prospect of the utility death spiral is the threat that actually frightens the crooked electricity cartel.

The government should also keep in mind that when people disconnect from the grid, the GST stream from their electricity use disappears forever.

Can you hear me now?

Sing songs, dance around… Carry a big stick.
