“AI Friends Are Coming to Facebook and Instagram”

January 2nd, 2025

Flashback to 2011: Army of Fake Social Media Friends to Promote Propaganda:

It’s recently been revealed that the U.S. government contracted HBGary Federal for the development of software which could create multiple fake social media profiles to manipulate and sway public opinion on controversial issues by promoting propaganda. It could also be used as surveillance to find public opinions with points of view the powers-that-be didn’t like. It could then potentially have their “fake” people run smear campaigns against those “real” people. As disturbing as this is, it’s not really new for U.S. intelligence or private intelligence firms to do the dirty work behind closed doors.

And now…

Among Meta’s many resolutions for the new year… one stands out as plain weird: filling its social-media platforms with bots. According to the Financial Times:

The Silicon Valley group is rolling out a range of AI products, including one that helps users create AI characters on Instagram and Facebook, as it battles with rival tech groups to attract and retain a younger audience. “We expect these AIs to actually, over time, exist on our platforms, kind of in the same way that accounts do,” said Connor Hayes, vice-president of product for generative AI at Meta. “They’ll have bios and profile pictures and be able to generate and share content powered by AI on the platform?.?.?.?that’s where we see all of this going,” he added.

Two law enforcement sources familiar with the New Orleans truck-terror-ramming attack and the Las Vegas incident told NBC News that federal investigative teams are probing a potential military connection between the two individuals involved in both attacks.

However, both vehicles used in New Orleans and Las Vegas were rented from San Francisco-based Turo.

Update: One Person Dead Inside Vehicle, Seven People Nearby Injured, “Very Large Fireworks and/or Bomb”

Via: AP:

One person died and seven others were injured Wednesday when a Tesla Cybertruck that appeared to be carrying fireworks caught fire and exploded outside President-elect Donald Trump’s Las Vegas hotel, authorities said.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police and Clark County Fire Department officials told a news conference that a person died inside the futuristic-looking pickup truck and they were working to get the body out. Seven people nearby had minor injuries and several were taken to a hospital.

The fire in the valet area of the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas was reported at 8:40 a.m., a county spokesperson said in a statement.

According to a law enforcement official, the truck was rented via the Turo app and appeared to have a load of fireworks. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly.

A Turo spokesperson did not immediately respond to an emailed request for comment.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said Wednesday afternoon on X that “we have now confirmed that the explosion was caused by very large fireworks and/or a bomb carried in the bed of the rented Cybertruck and is unrelated to the vehicle itself. All vehicle telemetry was positive at the time of the explosion.”

“The whole Tesla senior team is investigating this matter right now,” Musk said in an earlier post on the platform after attending a New Year’s Eve party at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort. “We’ve never seen anything like this.”

Latest “Bird Flu” Psyop

January 1st, 2025

Via: Dr. Robert Malone:

What is happening now with “bird flu” is another psyops campaign being conducted by the administrative/deep state, apparently in partnership with Pharma, against the American people. They know and we know that the “vaccines” being produced will be somewhat ineffective, as all flu “vaccines” are. The government is chasing a rapidly evolving RNA virus with a syringe, just like they did with HIV and C-19.

Generally, the currently circulating avian influenza strain in the US does not include any cases of human-to-human transmission. And the current mortality, with over 60 cases identified, is 0%. NOT 50%.

All the while they are getting prepared to roll out masks, lock-downs, quarantines, etc.

All the while getting ready to roll out mRNA vaccines for poultry and livestock, as well as for all of us.

Orbit by Mozilla: “AI You Can Trust”

December 31st, 2024

“Easily summarize emails, docs, articles, and videos across the web — without sacrificing your privacy.”

Mmm hmm.

In the first entry of Orbit’s frequently asked questions, “How does Orbit work?” we read:

For the current version, we are using a Mistral LLM (Mistral 7B) hosted within Mozilla’s GCP instance.

In case you don’t know, and I assume Mozilla didn’t spell it out on purpose, GCP stands for Google Cloud Platform.

Mozilla is so concerned with my privacy that this supposedly privacy focused AI assistant is hosted on Google’s infrastructure.

Well, that’s just ******* great.

*sigh*

Mozilla goes on to apply a soothing balm of meaningless words:

Does Orbit save the content of the pages I visit or summaries generated?

No, it does not.

When you use Orbit, we receive a payload back that contains the contents of your query; information about the model queried (such as the name and version number); information about technical problems with processing the query, if any; the number of tokens required to process the query; and the model outputs in response to the query. We do not store this data beyond temporarily caching it to process your query and return the outputs to you.

Orbit summaries are only available on the page that you are actually on. As soon as you navigate away from that page, Orbit erases the session.

Ok. They state the contents of the payload that comes back.

However, when a user queries Orbit, what exactly is sent to GCP instance?

Even assuming Mozilla is telling the truth about not storing anything (I wouldn’t believe this/no way to verify), what is Google storing about you, me and everyone else who uses Orbit?

Hmm.

China Claims to Have Found ‘Supergiant’ Gold Deposit

A “supergiant” deposit of high-quality gold ore containing an estimated 1,000 metric tons (1,100 US tons) of the precious metal has been discovered in central China, according to Chinese state media.

Valued at up to approximately 600 billion yuan or US$83 billion, the discovery could be one of the largest and most lucrative reservoirs of gold ever uncovered, surpassing the 900 metric tons estimated to lie within the mother of all gold reserves, South Deep mine in South Africa.
