Josh Alexander was suspended last November over comments made about gender in class and told he couldn’t return to class until he recanted.

On Monday, Alexander returned to class and was promptly met by the vice-principal, arrested by two local police officers and charged with trespassing. The now seemingly former student of St. Joseph’s Catholic High School told the National Post in an interview that he made comments during a class discussion on gender.

“It was about male students using female washrooms, gender dysphoria and male breastfeeding. Everyone was sharing their opinions on it, any student who wanted to was participating, including the teacher,” Alexander said.

The trial, which began in Feb 2021, originally intended to enroll 4,000 women, but enrollment stopped in late 2021 with just 349 participants.

There has been no explanation for why they stopped recruiting participants, nor have the data been published in a conference abstract, preprint or medical journal.

It has been over a year since the last woman was enrolled in the trial, and all of them would have given birth by now.

Recently, Marty Makary, a public policy researcher at Johns Hopkins University, objected to the secrecy. “They should say something. They have a moral duty to speak up. Here we are 18 months later, the results of those 349 women have never been made public,” said Makary.

“They just recommended it for pregnant women with zero data. And maybe that’s why [Pfizer] stopped the study….running a study runs the risk of showing that there may not be a benefit in pregnant women,” he added.

Pfizer’s response

In response to my questions, today I can reveal the reason why Pfizer hasn’t published the study — the company admitted it does not have the data.

In an email, Pfizer said the trial’s “enrollment rate declined significantly” towards the end of 2021, because authorities had already widely recommended the vaccine to pregnant women.

Natural immunity, or postinfection immunity, provided 76 percent protection against COVID-19-associated hospitalizations while Omicron was the dominant virus strain in the country, the researchers found. A primary series of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, in people without a prior infection, provided just 39 percent protection.

Thomas H. Lee was confirmed dead in a statement released by his family. He was 78.

Police responded to Lee’s office at 767 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan around 11:10 a.m. His firm, Thomas H. Lee Capital, LLC is located on the sixth floor of the building.

Lee, a Harvard graduate, had a net worth of roughly $2 billion at the time of his death, according to Forbes.

Around 12:02 p.m., officials were alerted to a twin-engine plane that crashed by the 3M Plant on Walters Road.

Officials say that all five people on the plane died during the crash.

The plane, a twin-engine Beech BE20, was departing from Clinton Airport when the crash occurred, according to the FAA.

All of the people on the plane including the pilot were employees of CTEH, which is a consulting firm that provides response services, including “environmental data collection, and management, GIS, safety, incident management, industrial hygiene, toxicology and human health consulting for the public and private sectors.”

“We are incredibly saddened to report the loss of our Little Rock colleagues,” said Dr. Paul Nony, senior vice president of CTEH. “We ask everyone to keep the families of those lost and the entire CTEH team in their thoughts and prayers.”

The plane was headed towards John Glenn Columbus International Airport in Ohio. A spokesperson for CTEH said this group was responding to an incident at a metal plant in Bedford, Ohio.

CTEH was previously working in East Palestine after the train derailment, according to the EPA.

Monsanto was the primary U.S. manufacturer of PCBs until they were banned in the U.S. in 1979.

Carpenter was barred from his office and laboratory, prohibited from teaching and initially forbidden all contact with his students.
