December 7th, 2025

Via: Telegraph:

Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner will help run Gaza, Western officials have said.

The negotiators, who both played key roles in securing the ceasefire, will be involved in the practical rebuilding of the war-torn Strip, under US plans to be announced this month.

This is despite both also being centrally involved in US efforts to end the war in Ukraine.

According to briefings from Western officials to media in the US and Israel, Mr Kushner and Mr Witkoff will join Sir Tony Blair on Gaza’s executive board, which will sit under the board of peace, chaired by Mr Trump.

Top Obama DEA Official Charged With Laundering Money For Mexican Drug Cartel

A former Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) official appointed as deputy chief of the Office of Financial Operations during the Obama administration – and who still holds a security clearance – was indicted on Friday on charges of agreeing to launder $12 million for the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) – which was designated a Foreign Terrorist Organization in February of this year.

Paul Campo, who oversaw the FBI’s money laundering operations and resigned in January 2016 ahead of Trump’s inauguration, laundered around $750,000 for the cartel by converting cash into cryptocurrency, and agreed to launder far more – totaling over $12 million, according to the indictment.

Campo’s hoome was raided by federal agents on Thursday.

Trump Administration Encouraging Development of Humanoid Robots

December 5th, 2025

Running…

Via: ZeroHedge:

President Trump’s national industrial strategy centers on expanding U.S. dominance in semiconductors, AI, rare earth production, clean technology, space, and other emerging technologies expected to dominate the global economy in the 2030s. Following the administration’s push to accelerate AI data center buildouts and power grid upgrades, Politico now reports that the next major focus is poised to be humanoid robotics.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has been meeting with the heads of major tech companies and is weighing an executive order next year to spur domestic development and production of humanoid robots, while the Department of Transportation is setting up a robotics working group, according to Politico sources.

CDC Will No Longer Recommend Hepatitis B Vaccine for All Newborns

December 5th, 2025

Via: Focal Points:

In a landmark decision, the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted 8–3 on Friday to eliminate the universal recommendation that all newborns receive a Hepatitis B vaccine at birth — a policy in place since 1991.

The new guidance keeps the birth dose only for infants whose mothers test positive for Hepatitis B or whose status is unknown. For all other newborns, ACIP now recommends parent-directed, individualized decision-making, with vaccination suggested no earlier than two months.

The vote followed discussion of evidence showing that U.S. newborns face extremely low risk of Hepatitis B transmission absent maternal infection, and that past declines in disease were driven largely by improved blood screening and medical practices rather than universal infant dosing.

Three dissenting members warned of potential harm, but the majority concluded that a blanket recommendation is no longer scientifically justified.

Journal Retracts Key Paper Claiming Glyphosate Not Linked to Cancer

December 5th, 2025

Via: Center for Biological Diversity:

The scientific journal Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology has issued a rare retraction of one of the most cited studies on the safety of the pesticide glyphosate, the main ingredient in the weedkiller Roundup.

The study, which found that glyphosate poses no cancer or other health risks to people, was retracted because it relied exclusively on unpublished Monsanto studies. The study failed to review any research that was not conducted by Monsanto, the maker of glyphosate, now owned by Bayer. The journal also found that the paper may have been ghostwritten by Monsanto employees and that financial compensation from Monsanto was not disclosed.

The article has been cited extensively by regulatory agencies around the world, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, as evidence that glyphosate poses no cancer risk to humans. The paper is in the top 0.1% of cited articles on glyphosate in the scientific literature, meaning it is more highly cited than 99.9% of articles written on the chemical.

“The pesticide industry’s decades of efforts to hijack the science and manipulate it to boost its profits is finally being exposed,” said Nathan Donley, environmental health science director at the Center for Biological Diversity. “The EPA must take immediate action to reassess its finding that glyphosate is not a carcinogen. That means rather than relying on Monsanto’s confidential research of its own product, the agency needs to follow the gold standard of independent science established by the World Health Organization in its finding that glyphosate probably causes cancer.”

WHO–Gates Blueprint for Global Digital ID, AI-Driven Surveillance, and Life-Long Vaccine Tracking for Every Person

December 5th, 2025

Via: Jon Fleetwood:

In a document published in the October Bulletin of the World Health Organization and funded by the Gates Foundation, the World Health Organization (WHO) is proposing a globally interoperable digital-identity infrastructure that permanently tracks every individual’s vaccination status from birth.

The dystopian proposal raises far more than privacy and autonomy concerns: it establishes the architecture for government overreach, cross-domain profiling, AI-driven behavioral targeting, conditional access to services, and a globally interoperable surveillance grid tracking individuals.

It also creates unprecedented risks in data security, accountability, and mission creep, enabling a digital control system that reaches into every sector of life.

“This transformation can accelerate progress towards the Immunization agenda 2030, which aims to ensure that everyone, everywhere, at every age, fully benefits from vaccines.”

Pentagon Launches $1B Program To Rapidly Buy Hundreds Of Thousands Of Kamikaze Drones

December 4th, 2025

Via: The War Zone:

The Pentagon has created a new program to spend $1 billion over the next two years to buy hundreds of thousands of one-way attack drones for the military. Dubbed the Drone Dominance Program (DDP), it is an implementation of War Secretary Pete Hegseth’s July memo authorizing major changes to how the department procures and uses these weapons.

As we have frequently reported, despite the lessons learned from Ukraine and many other battlegrounds, the U.S. military has continued to move extremely slowly to field lower-end drones on a widespread basis. This is the latest Pentagon move to change that, albeit with still relatively conservative goals compared to the millions of drones used by Ukraine and Russia.
