California Is The Only State To Hide Its Spending – Nearly $300 Billion A Year
December 12th, 2021Via: Forbes:
Yee is claiming her office “couldn’t locate” a single payment. No, that’s not fake news, or a comedy punch line. California’s top financial officer actually argued this in court recently, despite admitting she paid 50 million individual bills last year.
Furthermore, the controller now claims that transparency itself is an “undue burden.” She swears it’s necessary to take 72,000 work hours to go through each of the 50 million payments by hand.
Four States Calling In National Guard To Alleviate Healthcare Staffing Crisis

As hospitals face capacity constraints – including firing thousands of workers who refuse to comply with Biden’s illegal directive and get jabbed – amid a COVID-19 surge, some states have enlisted the National Guard to help staff healthcare facilities, Becker’s Hospital Review reported on December 10.
Maine Governor Activates National Guard to Help at Hospitals After Nurses Fired Due to Mandates
December 10th, 2021Via: Epoch Times:
Maine Gov. Janet Mills on Dec. 8 activated the state’s National Guard to assist at hospitals after her COVID-19 vaccine mandate caused hundreds of nurses and other health care employees to leave their jobs or be fired.
Mills, a Democrat, said the move was to “help alleviate short-term capacity constraints at hospitals and maintain access to inpatient health care services for Maine people amid a sustained surge of COVID-19.”
Melbourne Woman Sets Herself On Fire Inside Car With Sign Saying: “NO ONE CARES, MANDATES ARE KILLING US”
December 10th, 2021I had difficulty confirming this one, but I did find a Herald Sun story (paywalled) about it: Woman upset by vax mandate in self-harm incident.
The excerpt from the article above indicates that she survived the incident:
A woman who said she lost everything because of Victoria’s vaccine mandate was saved by emergency services after a dramatic Werribee incident.
I’m mostly finding Facebook posts and blogs referring to Facebook posts. Clearly, the Australian media isn’t too interested in this, but if you find a mainstream news article about this that’s not paywalled, please let me know.
Australia and New Zealand are Potemkin villages at this point, so it’s not that I consider mainstream media from either country to be useful. I’m just curious to know if a woman setting herself on fire in response to government policies will can be effectively ignored in Australia.
The useless New Zealand media can be trusted to cover this by promoting slow cooker recipes by some obese imbecile and sportsball news, along with banners and tickers about how many of the sheep have been vaccinated.

The woman parked her car, blocking off a road in Cherry St, Werribee, a suburb in Victoria, and poured 4 cans of petrol over herself before placing the sign containing her written plea in the window of her car. Police attended and tried to talk her down, but she ultimately set herself on fire after telling the police she had “nothing left”.
Epstein and Maxwell Pictured at Queen’s Balmoral Estate
December 9th, 2021Via: RTÉ:
A photo that appears to show Ghislaine Maxwell and paedophile Jeffrey Epstein relaxing at a log cabin on the Queen Elizabeth’s Balmoral estate in Scotland has been released as part of the socialite’s sex trafficking trial.
The pair are seated next to one another on a bench, with a smiling Ms Maxwell, dressed in a blue checked shirt, nestled into Epstein and resting her arm on his leg.
It was previously reported that the couple were invited to Balmoral by the Duke of York, who was friends with both Ms Maxwell and Epstein, in 1999.
In the past, the Queen has been pictured sitting on what appears to be the same bench at the Scottish rural retreat, as was the Duke of Edinburgh.
The image was among a collection of 19 photos released in New York, which prosecutors say demonstrate the intimacy of Ms Maxwell’s relationship with paedophile financier Epstein.

Explosion in New Heart Conditions Explained as “Post Pandemic Stress Disorder”
December 8th, 2021Via: Summit News:
Experts in the UK say that an explosion in new heart illnesses in younger patients can be explained by a new condition called “post-pandemic stress disorder.”
Yes, really.
A London Evening Standard report quotes senior vascular surgeon Tahir Hussain, who works at an NHS hospital in London.
“I’ve seen a big increase in thrombotic-related vascular conditions in my practice,” said Hussain. “Far younger patients are being admitted and requiring surgical and medical intervention than prior to the pandemic.”
Hussain said that the cases are “a direct result of the increased stress and anxiety levels caused from the effects of PPSD (post-pandemic stress disorder).”
He also said that people dying at home “from conditions such as pulmonary embolism and myocardial infarction” was down to them self-isolating and not seeking the medical care they need.
The U.S. Air Force Has Doubts About the F-35
December 8th, 2021Oh no shit? You don’t say.
Who goes to prison when $1.7 trillion in public money goes up in smoke?
Actually, for the companies involved: Mission Accomplished.
It gets even better:
The U.S. Air Force is thinking about starting from scratch on a new, lightweight fighter…
Via: National Interest:
Now, the Air Force is kicking off a month-long assessment of the branch’s tactical aviation requirements with the intention of potentially fielding an all-new fighter that boasts some of the capabilities found in the F-35 and F-22, but with a significantly smaller price tag. This new fighter would not replace the F-35, but would instead be used in place of 4th generation fighters like the F-16 Fighting Falcon.
12 Major Cities Hit All-Time Homicide Records
December 8th, 2021Via: ABC:
At least 12 major U.S. cities have broken annual homicide records in 2021 — and there’s still three weeks to go in the year.
Of the dozen cities that have already surpassed the grim milestones for killings, five topped records that were set or tied just last year.
‘Mouse Movers’
December 8th, 2021Via: Vice:
Bossware is spyware from your boss. Some companies make employees use keyboard or mouse-tracking software to ensure that they’re working every moment they’re on the clock, even if they’re at home. Even if managers aren’t spying on your mouse, chat apps quickly turn users’ activity bubbles to “away” when they’re inactive for a short time, like in Leah’s case.
…
Company computer surveillance has been a problem since long before 2020, however; Lorenzo, a founder of a mouse mover device company, told Slate that he tried tricking Microsoft Lync (a chat platform, now called Teams) with a DIY moving platform made of plastic and wood way back in 2017, because his boss would message him whenever he briefly got up for a drink of water.
Recently, more remote workers have been hacking together DIY mouse movers, like this one made of LEGO pieces or as brutal as a brick on a spacebar, as their own recent revolts against bossware. But online retailers like Amazon are also full of plug-and-play mouse movers, with options that physically rotate the mouse’s cursor from below, or USB sticks that come preloaded with software that mimics mouse movements. Plugging in the stick tricks the computer into thinking it’s an active mouse.
