Autism and Vaccine Scientist Arrested for Allegedly Stealing $1 Million from CDC

A Danish researcher central to the debate over vaccines and autism — and sought for a decade by U.S. authorities — has been arrested in Germany and faces extradition to the U.S. to be tried on charges of stealing a million dollars in research money, Breitbart News has learned.
Poul Thorsen, 64, was indicted by a federal grand jury in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2011 on 22 counts of wire fraud and money laundering, but has escaped prosecution in the U.S. because Denmark has chosen not to extradite him, according to previous reports.
The arrest is especially significant to the MAHA (Make America Healthy Again) movement because Thorsen, who is also a physician, is one of the authors of a 2003 study considered the “gold standard” in determining there is no link between autism and vaccines containing a preservative called thimerosal.
Safe vaccine advocates have alleged that the study was deceptive and fatally flawed.

George Zinn, who allegedly fabricated a confession in the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, has been arrested on charges of obstruction of justice and possession of child sexual abuse material, Utah authorities said.
Authorities said Monday that Zinn, 71, was arrested after the shooting was taken into custody because he shouted, “I shot him, now shoot me.” According to a probable cause statement, the man later admitted he made the remark so the real suspect, later revealed to be Tyler Robinson, could escape.
Authorities later traced the post back to him during an investigation that uncovered illicit material on his devices. Investigators said a review of Zinn’s phone revealed more than 20 explicit images of children ages 5 to 12, along with graphic messages in which he admitted receiving gratification from the material.
Zinn faces multiple felony counts, including obstruction of justice and four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, and is being held in the Utah County Jail. Authorities said there is no evidence Zinn colluded with the actual gunman. Zinn is expected to face his first court appearance later this week.

The only career history I could find for George Zinn is that he has been getting arrested for misdemeanors related to causing disruptions at political events since the 1980s.
It would be interesting to know how he has money to maintain such a lifestyle over so many decades…
The recent videos floating around of him discussing 9/11 are from 2021, not 2001. In 2021, The Major Brent Taylor Foundation (a veterans’ support organization) produced a video that included Zinn. As far as I can tell, that video was uploaded to Facebook, but it has since been removed.

The known political agitator who falsely confessed to shooting Charlie Kirk while in the audience at the conservative star’s event told investigators that he was trying to “draw attention from the real shooter,” according to a report.
Court records revealed that George Zinn, 71 — a known “gadfly” who was led away from Utah Valley University in handcuffs after the assassination last Wednesday — told cops he was trying to distract them from the real assassin, local station Fox 13 reported.
Zinn approached cops immediately after Kirk was killed and yelled, “I shot him, now shoot me,” the report stated, citing police, who noted that he was unarmed and taken into custody.
During a police interview, Zinn admitted he did not kill Kirk, but said he wanted to cause a distraction “to draw attention from the real shooter,” according to court documents reviewed by Fox 13.
The faux shooter made similarly strange and opaque comments after being transported to a local hospital due to a medical condition — saying he “wanted to be a martyr for the person who was shot,” those court papers stated, according to the outlet.
Police said his initial comments delayed the investigation into Kirk’s killing and needlessly took up law enforcement resources at a critical juncture in the probe.
He is charged with obstruction of justice, which is a second-degree felony.
Video from the chaotic aftermath of the assassination at Utah Valley University showed Zinn with his pants around his ankles being dragged away by police as a crowd of college students looked on in horror as he wailed, “Shoot me.”

Now, a bill introduced by the chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee is ringing alarm bells for civil liberties advocates who say it would grant Rubio the power to revoke the passports of American citizens on similar grounds.
The provision, sponsored by Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., as part of a larger State Department reorganization, is set for a hearing Wednesday.
Mast’s legislation says that it takes aim at “terrorists and traffickers,” but critics say it could be used to deny American citizens the right to travel based solely on their speech.
FBI Releases Surveillance Video of Alleged Charlie Kirk Assassin Fleeing Scene Without Rifle
September 14th, 2025According to the New York Post, the rifle that is alleged to have been used to assassinate Charlie Kirk is, “An imported .30-06-caliber Mauser bolt-action rifle.”
The FBI posted a video of the alleged assassin fleeing across the roof of a building and jumping down to the ground. This statement is from the FBI video:
The subject is seen jumping from the rooftop of a building after the shooting. Around 12 p.m. Mountain Time on September 10, 2025, the subject climbed up to a rooftop; after he shot and killed Charlie Kirk, he jumped off and ran away. He left a gun and ammunition in a wooded area near the university.
The individual in the video is not handling a large caliber bolt action rifle with a scope.
It looks like he is carrying a black towel.
Are we expected to believe that the assassin shot Kirk, disassembled the rifle, put the components in his backpack and then re-assembled the rifle before leaving it in the, “Wooded area near the university?”
If so, there is a VERY serious problem with that theory.
For a moment, let us assume that the rifle’s stock and barrel action would fit in the backpack that the alleged assassin was wearing. I do not think that the rifle components would fit inside that backpack, but let us assume that they did.
Charlie Kirk was assassinated at 12:23 p.m. MDT (UTC-06:00). I have been unable to determine the exact time of the assassination, to the second. The surveillance video clip released by the FBI starts with the timestamp at 12:23:34 p.m. with the alleged assassin already several yards from the alleged firing position and running at full speed on the roof.
There is no way that the person shown running on the roof could have removed both action screws with a screwdriver, separated the barrel action from the stock, stored the barrel action and the stock in the backpack (neither of which would fit in the backpack, but assume they did), and donned the backpack in (at maximum) 30 seconds, assuming the shot occurred at exactly 12:23:00 p.m.
This is totally impossible.
If the shot occurred after 12:23:00 p.m., there would be even less than 30 seconds to perform the breakdown of the rifle and storage of the barrel action and stock in the backpack.
If we are expected to believe that the alleged assassin disassembled the rifle and placed the components in the backpack, why did the FBI choose to release a video clip that does not include that process?

President Trump announced early Friday that a suspect for Charlie Kirk’s assassination was turned in by his father — with law enforcement sources telling The Post it is a 22-year-old Utah local, Tyler Robinson.
“I think, with a high degree of certainty, we have him,” Trump told “Fox & Friends” during a live interview at the cable giant’s Manhattan studio, saying he heard just minutes before his 8 a.m. interview.
“Somebody who was very close to him turned him in,” the president said, then revealing it was the suspect’s dad who relayed it through “a minister who was involved with law enforcement.”

A sample collected by NASA’s Perseverance Mars rover from an ancient dry riverbed in Jezero Crater could preserve evidence of ancient microbial life. Taken from a rock named “Cheyava Falls” last year, the sample, called “Sapphire Canyon,” contains potential biosignatures, according to a paper published Wednesday in the journal Nature.
A potential biosignature is a substance or structure that might have a biological origin but requires more data or further study before a conclusion can be reached about the absence or presence of life.
“This finding by Perseverance, launched under President Trump in his first term, is the closest we have ever come to discovering life on Mars. The identification of a potential biosignature on the Red Planet is a groundbreaking discovery, and one that will advance our understanding of Mars,” said acting NASA Administrator Sean Duffy. “NASA’s commitment to conducting Gold Standard Science will continue as we pursue our goal of putting American boots on Mars’ rocky soil.”
