U.S. Electoral College Formally Confirms Joe Biden’s Victory Over Trump

December 14th, 2020

Is that it for Trump?

Maybe.

Maybe not.

Sidney Powell: Trump Could Trigger 2018 Executive Order on Foreign Election Interference:

Lawyer Sidney Powell asserted that due to alleged foreign interference in the Nov. 3 election, “it’s more than sufficient to trigger” President Donald Trump’s executive order on foreign interference issued in 2018.

In September 2018, Trump signed an executive order that says “not later than 45 days after the conclusion of a United States election, the Director of National Intelligence, in consultation with the heads of any other appropriate executive departments and agencies (agencies), shall conduct an assessment of any information indicating that a foreign government, or any person acting as an agent of or on behalf of a foreign government, has acted with the intent or purpose of interfering in that election.”

Powell told The Epoch Times she believes that due to that executive order, it can give Trump “all kinds of power … to do everything from seize assets to freeze things, demand the impoundment of the machines,” referring to voting machines.

“Under the emergency powers, he could even appoint a special prosecutor to look into this, which is exactly what needs to happen,” Powell said. “Every machine, every voting machine in the country should be impounded right now. There’s frankly more than enough criminal probable cause to justify that, for anybody who’s willing to address the law and the facts purely on the basis of truth and not politics, or corporate greed, or global wealth.”

UK: Up To 40% Of Care Workers May Not Want To Get COVID-19 Vaccine

December 14th, 2020

Via: Metro:

Nearly half of care home staff may choose not to have the coronavirus vaccine, amid calls for it to be made compulsory among healthcare workers.

Nadra Ahmed, chairwoman of the National Care Association, said as many as 40% may opt against taking the jab as rollout continues across the UK.

The owner of one care home said if half the workforce refused the vaccine, they would have to inform not only family members but the local authority, as it remains unclear who would be liable in the event someone were to fall ill.

There could be grounds to make the inoculation mandatory for such workers, according to an employment lawyer.

Ms Ahmed said research indicates more than half of care staff were ‘very keen’ to be inoculated, but others were adamant they would not have it, and some were undecided with their uncertainty potentially motivated by ‘fear’.

She told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: ‘We know that between 50 and 60%, depending on individual services, of the staff are actually saying they will definitely have the vaccine and are very keen.

‘We understand between about 17-20% of staff in services are saying they definitely won’t have it, and then you have the rest who are waiting to see.

‘So we are looking at potentially 40% who decide not to have it.’

Hunter Biden Subpoenaed Over Burisma, Two Dozen Other Entities As Part Of Four Investigations

December 12th, 2020

Via: ZeroHedge:

Hunter Biden has been subpoenaed by federal investigators over his involvement with at least two dozen entities – including Ukrainian gas company Burisma, according to the Associated Press, citing a ‘person familiar with a Justice Department tax investigation.”

News of the subpoena follows a joint announcement from Hunter and his father Joe Biden’s campaign last week which acknowledged that he was under investigation for tax fraud, with the Washington Post noting that Hunter had yet to be interviewed by the FBI or served with subpoenas.

The subpoena, issued Tuesday, covers a wide swath of Hunter’s taxes and international business dealings – in what could be a serious case against the Biden family (or a serious attempt to put a DOJ ‘bow’ on the ‘matter’). AP notes that it’s unclear if Burisma is a central part of the investigation – despite Joe Biden admitting on tape that he had Ukraine’s chief prosecutor fired during the same period as said investigator, Viktor Shokin, was investigating Burisma’s founder for corruption.

Pentagon Weighs Cutting Most of Its Support to CIA’s Counterterrorism Missions

December 11th, 2020

Something big is going down with Trump vs. CIA.

My guess is that CIA can draw upon endless cutouts and private contractors to keep doing whatever it is that Trump is trying to stop.

CIA is out of control. It has been for decades. It should have never had a paramilitary covert operations capability.

Emboldened by the early coups after its formation, the use of that covert infrastructure expanded into other activities. The JFK assassination. Iran-Contra/Cocaine (never forget the cocaine). 9/11. Decade after decade, the MOCKINGBIRD media has been there to make it all right as rain.

Good luck with trying to get that genie back in the bottle.

Via: ABC:

In a surprising move, the Pentagon has told the Central Intelligence Agency that it is weighing an end to the majority of the military support it provides to the agency’s counterterrorism missions, according to a former senior administration intelligence official.

It is unclear how the decision would impact the spy agency’s worldwide counterterrorism missions that often rely on the U.S. military for logistical support and personnel.

Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller sent a letter to CIA Director Gina Haspel outlining the decision, according to the former official, who characterized the action as both surprising and unprecedented.

Monarch: The World’s First Fully Electric, Driver Optional, Smart Tractor

December 11th, 2020

I don’t know why Monarch waited almost to the end to say it, but fully supporting right to repair is huge, given the diabolical and universally hated behavior of the tractor industrial complex:

Big Tractor says farmers have no right to access the copyrighted software that controls every facet of today’s equipment, even to repair their own machines. That’s the exclusive domain of authorized dealerships.

Also, the same machine, minus the “smart” features and for a lower price, would probably sell well.

Actual Headline: “Promising Covid Vaccine in Australia Abandoned After Trial Participants Test False Positive for HIV”

December 11th, 2020

It’s as if Dr. Mengele went on the Benny Hill Show.

Via: Independent:

Australia has abandoned the trial of a locally developed vaccine against Covid-19 after some trial participants showed false HIV positive results.

The vaccine was being developed by the University of Queensland (UQ) and biotech firm CSL, which was one of the four main candidates contracted by the Australian government for coronavirus vaccines.

According to a statement from the Australian government, the evidence from the University of Queensland’s phase one clinical trials showed the vaccine to be safe and that it produced a strong immune response able to neutralise the Covid-19 virus.

But it explained that as part of the vaccine’s design, the university’s researchers included a small fragment of a protein taken from the HIV virus, glycoprotein 41 (gp41), which was used to create a “molecular clamp” to hold the vaccine’s synthetic virus in place.

“Although the university’s researchers have confirmed the protein fragment poses absolutely no health risk to people who have taken the vaccine, they have identified a partial antibody response to it among trial participants. This has the potential to interfere with some HIV screening tests that look for these antibodies – leading to a false positive test result,” the statement said.

It was “this impact on HIV screening – and in the context of other promising vaccine candidates becoming available” that led to the Australian government’s decision, it said.

“Importantly, pathology testing that directly looks for the HIV virus has confirmed negative results for the trial participants who have taken the vaccine,” the statement clarified.

Melinda Gates: “We Hadn’t Really Thought Through the Economic Impacts”

December 10th, 2020

Via: AIER:

She is somehow under the impression that it is the pandemic and not the lockdowns that are the cause of the economic devastation that includes perhaps 30% of restaurants going under, among many other terrible effects.

She doesn’t say that outright but, like many articles in the mainstream press over this year, she very carefully crafts her words to avoid the crucial subject of lockdowns as the primary cause of economic disaster. It’s possible that she actually believes this virus is what tanked the world economy on its own but that is a completely unsustainable proposition.
