Russia: Youth Camps for Indoctrination and Procreation

July 29th, 2007

If you thought Jesus Camp was frightening, you better be sitting down for this one!

Via: Daily Mail:

Remember the mammoths, say the clean-cut organisers at the youth camp’s mass wedding. “They became extinct because they did not have enough sex. That must not happen to Russia”.

Obediently, couples move to a special section of dormitory tents arranged in a heart-shape and called the Love Oasis, where they can start procreating for the motherland.

With its relentlessly upbeat tone, bizarre ideas and tight control, it sounds like a weird indoctrination session for a phoney religious cult.

But this organisation – known as “Nashi”, meaning “Ours” – is youth movement run by Vladimir Putin’s Kremlin that has become a central part of Russian political life.

Nashi’s annual camp, 200 miles outside Moscow, is attended by 10,000 uniformed youngsters and involves two weeks of lectures and physical fitness.

Attendance is monitored via compulsory electronic badges and anyone who misses three events is expelled. So are drinkers; alcohol is banned. But sex is encouraged, and condoms are nowhere on sale.

Bizarrely, young women are encouraged to hand in thongs and other skimpy underwear – supposedly a cause of sterility – and given more wholesome and substantial undergarments.

Twenty-five couples marry at the start of the camp’s first week and ten more at the start of the second. These mass weddings, the ultimate expression of devotion to the motherland, are legal and conducted by a civil official.

Attempting to raise Russia’s dismally low birthrate even by eccentric-seeming means might be understandable. Certainly, the country’s demographic outlook is dire. The hard-drinking, hardsmoking and disease-ridden population is set to plunge by a million a year in the next decade.

But the real aim of the youth camp – and the 100,000-strong movement behind it – is not to improve Russia’s demographic profile, but to attack democracy.

Under Mr Putin, Russia is sliding into fascism, with state control of the economy, media, politics and society becoming increasingly heavy-handed. And Nashi, along with other similar youth movements, such as ‘Young Guard’, and ‘Young Russia’, is in the forefront of the charge.

Western society indoctrination which puts “success” and “career” before family is also wrong. I see nothing evil in encouraging people to have children if it does not turn into something racist and does not promote war, like Hitler did

The problem is that after the Berlin Wall fell the USA, thru Harvard academics etc., went into Russia and instead of the “help” they were supposedly giving they helped rape the country’s natural resources and people to the favor of connected gangsters and internationally connected banker types (is there a difference?), many of whom later fled with billions in pilfered state resources to Israel (which will not extradite)and London etc.

The average people, especially the older ones, lost ground with all the ill effects described occurring – – so they don’t exactly view what was called “democracy” as being so hot – – it was no more “democratic” than what they had before was “communism” just an economy run by thugs as we now fully have in the latest incarnation of “democracy” in the US government . . . the US had an opportunity to help at this critical point in history in Russia, and change the world for the better, and our “leaders” instead, as usual, chose to “help themselves”, what else is new, they are doing the same in Africa, Iraq, and everywhere else they spread their brand of what they call “freedom” (legalized theft for them) in the world, that’s one reason, of many, the USA government is now the most hated government in the world, although many still hold the “people” in some small regard and feel they are rather clueless, ill informed types so they shouldn’t be fully blamed for what has/is happening . . . .

It’s a mistake to conflate “having children” and “family.”

Read the whole article for a better picture of the fascist elements of this, in particular Putin’s whitewashing of history and the violent rallies.

I didn’t know things were quite that extreme in Russia. . . makes the US look sane.

    tmb,

Let’s, as a friend of mine would say, drnk a little less haterade. Lose the USA-centric focus and look at the big picture. Russia had corruption before the US arrived. The Russian people were getting stiffed by the KGB types while huge amounts of the country’s wealth was spent on military strength that was mostly smoke and mirrors.
If Russia were in the position of the US right now, powerful people from that country would be exploiting other parts of the world too.

Demonizing the US, as easy and hackneyed as it may be, relies on an unspoken assumption that the world is composed of bad guys (Americans) and good guys (everyone else). Yet, the truth is there are only bad guys. High rollers in the US just so happen to have the power to get what they want.

. . . in 50 years we may be discussing how tyrannically China polices the world.

@ pragmatist: I somewhat agree and somewhat disagree . . . Anthony Sutton pointed out, and documented meticulously and was persecuted for same, in his books that were completely ignored by the msm as his work was so feared they did not want to even mention it even w/phoney criticism that would bring attention to it (please review http://www.antonysutton.com/), that Wall Street bankers/families specifically financed both Stalin and Hitler (“Communism” & “Fascism”=Wall Street created totalitarian twins as a practical matter. . .) and supplied and financed the North Vietnamese during that war also, profiting from same greatly at the expense of the US infrastructure, education system etc. not to mention bombing Viet Nam back to the stone age to quote R. Nixon (a Bush family stooge) – – I did not say that the folks who destroyed the Russian economy were working on behalf of the USA people, they weren’t, I don’t believe Henry Kissinger etc. while acting in the name of the USA actually do anything as to benefit the average USA citizen quite the contrary . . .

I also think it is completely accurate to say that the USA government is now the most hated in the world, having traveled a great deal last year I saw this to be a fact and, as I said, most overseas folks feel very much more generously toward the people of the USA vs. the “government” which now is basically run by the families and descendants of the same bankers/financiers that Sutton pointed out were applying a Hegelian dialectic and funding both “ism” sides for profit and mass murder during the last century – – it seems they are now trying to finish the job their ancestors began as to the final destruction of the Republic . . .

I also do believe that the USA government does have a unique record in ACTIVELY targeting and destroying all progressive movements that it sees foreign (op gladio) and domestic (op garden plot etc.), as well documented in John Judge’s writing, Blum’s Killing Hope, the recent Confessions Of An Economic Hit Man, and in Operation Gladio type actions where phoney false flag “terrorist” attacks were committed by right wing fascists w/USA ties/financing to pin same on left and more “progressive” groups to cause them to fall out of favor w/local populations (nearly no one in the US has a clue about this as it never received msm coverage but is well known in Italy etc). . .

Is the USA government the only evil one in the world? No, but as the most powerful country in the world for the last 60 years the planet would have looked much different if the USA had not been run in a fascist manner, using Hegelian tactics of playing both “sides” of nearly all conflicts/wars for profit, importing thousands of Nazis after WWII etc. – – all resulting in what we have today, a phoney Potemkin Village “democracy” that is a stones throw from martial law and totalitarian dictatorship and concentration camps for political dissent . . .

As to whether I have “haterade” for those who have destroyed our Republic form of government and murdered millions and millions of our fellow citizens and human beings world-wide, I must admit you nailed me on that one.

Bravo tmb. Outstanding summary of the way the world works. Anthony Sutton is now on my reading list and after a brief perusal of the link you provided to http://www.antonysutton.com , I hope he was right when he said in a rare interview 8 years ago:

Sooner or later people will wake up. First we have to dump the trap of right and left, this is a Hegelian trap to divide and control. The battle is not between right and left; it is between us and them.

What to do? Find yourself and then go to work…..tell your friends and put out the message.
    The answer is within you.

@NH: If you would like a clearer view of the secret groups and secret teams that have been running the world and how they have financed themselves w/plundered gold and drug running this site is great and well-documented:

    http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/sociopolitica/secretgoldtreaty/contents.htm

    On Global Banking also:

    http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/sociopolitica/sociopol_globalbanking.htm#menu

The Global Elite index is also interesting.

Basically you have a network of psychopathic, generally inbred for generations, fascists who control the vast majority of the world’s wealth, very actively working to gain the rest of the world’s wealth and to enslave/brain wash/degrade the other 99.9% of us, employing the “intelligence” agencies and the unlimited budgets, “black” and otherwise, to their endeavor – – not a conspiracy theory, a real ongoing conspiracy going back generations the results of which we see today as the entire world becomes one big prison/gulag/concentration camp for all but those who are “connected” to this class – – members by blood or their hired house boys who grovel at their feet and betray the rest of us for them (think Karl Rove, Bill Clinton etc . . .)

As an ex-prosecutor, I always find it fascinating how “conspiracies” are always able to be found as to networked criminals from poor backgrounds but, as to those criminals w/the greatest wealth and connections to pull off the greatest conspiratorial conduct in their financial/power favor, the media, which of course they own, finds such to be impossible and put forward by “conspiracy theoricists” . . . a great psychological warfare gambit. Such psychological warfare actions are ungoing and completely ignored/unknown by the general public such as the fact that it is now known in the public domain that the National Enquirer was started by a CIA psychological warfare expert named Pope, as many other “fronts” serve the same purpose, to cause ridicule as to the UFO phenomenon, a very real phenomenon (as outlined in documents as to the statements of high military members in the early 40s and 50s where shots were actually fired on same before the wall of silence/psychological warfare descended) whatever it may in fact be in reality but also a phenomenom that has been thoroughly “used” by military “intelligence”.

So basically you have a declared ongoing war by a small group w/basiclly unlimited resources, numbering under 100,000 anyway, on the rest of us who are basically clueless and brainwashed as to this “reality”, who have/are turning human life into a hell on Earth – – just look around, read some of these resources, and tell me I’m wrong, please . . . .

I basically agree with this. However, this: “Lose the USA-centric focus and look at the big picture. High rollers in the US just so happen to have the power to get what they want.” –seems more than a little self-contradictory to me. So just where should the focus be if it is the elites in the US who have the power to get what they want? –Argentina? Seems to me the “USA-centric focus” is entirely appropriate.
