First of all, this is an actual AP image, and not some hoax or meme. The story is called, Israel begins giving COVID shots to children age 5 to 11.

Look at the photo (3 of 4) with the following caption:

I would like to know what the Israeli children are being shown during this… procedure.

While I was not able to find the answer, I did find this, which might be related: Virtual reality headsets significantly reduce children’s fear of needles.

    Holy shit, three people to administer a dose of this toxic cocktail. Without the headset He must have been really struggling. I’m sure we’d see a very frightened child. It is very, very sad.
