U.S. Deploying 3000 Additional Troops, Stryker Brigade to Southern Border
March 2nd, 2025Via: Daily Mail:
The United States will deploy nearly 3,000 additional troops to its border with Mexico, bringing the total number of active-duty personnel there to around 9,000, the US military said on Saturday.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered elements of a Stryker brigade combat team and a general support aviation battalion for the mission, the Pentagon said.
The forces will arrive along the nearly 2,000-mile border in the coming weeks.
Border security is a key priority for President Donald Trump, who declared a national emergency at the US frontier with Mexico on his first day in office.
The new troops will ‘reinforce and expand current border security operations to seal the border and protect the territorial integrity of the United States,’ the Pentagon said.
The Stryker unit ‘will not conduct or be involved in interdiction or deportation operations,’ it said, but rather will assist in detection and monitoring, administrative duties and transportation and engineering support, among other tasks.
Firefly Aerospace’s Blue Ghost Lands on Moon
March 2nd, 2025Via: Space.com:
Firefly Aerospace’s Blue Ghost moon lander just etched its name into the history books.
Blue Ghost aced its touchdown try early this morning (March 2), becoming just the second private spacecraft ever to soft-land on the moon. The lander hauled 10 science experiments to the lunar surface for NASA, which was understandably happy with today’s result.

Private Investigator on Thomas Crooks: “We Don’t Think He Acted Alone”
February 27th, 2025Via: New York Post:
A veteran private investigator from Erie, Penn., who was hired shortly after the fateful July 13 event at Butler Farm to look into Crooks by a private client, told The Post he believes a “criminal network” was operating with him at the time of the assassination attempt, is still in existence and still wants to kill President Trump.
Doug Hagmann, whose team of six other investigators have been working the case for months and have interviewed more than 100 people, said they also conducted extensive geofencing analysis of cell phones and tablets not belonging to Crooks that were found with him at his home, at the rifle range where he took target practice, at the rally and at Bethel Park High School where he graduated in 2022.
“We don’t think he acted alone,” Hagmann told The Post. “This took a lot of coordination. In my view, Crooks was handled by more than one individual and he was used for this [assassination attempt]. And I wouldn’t preclude the possibility that there were people at the rally itself helping him.”

FBI Continues Epstein Coverup
February 27th, 2025Dear Attorney General Pam Bondi:
If there’s a genuine desire to release all the information, here’s an idea: Stop asking and start taking.
BREAKING: Why has the government been SO suspiciously protective of Jeffrey Epstein? Today, we began to feel duped and then @PamBondi released a letter saying she felt duped too. Turns out the @FBI isn’t following orders. The New York FBI field office is withholding Epstein… pic.twitter.com/3AD8CMm3d8

This is the story:
President Trump & AG Pam Bondi committed to releasing the Epstein files.
The FBI was told to deliver the files to Bondi.
They did, about 200 pages.
Bondi smelled a rat, because there was nothing juicy in the 200 pages, just flight logs & a Rolodex of phone…

Epstein documents were released in the WORST way possible.
But here’s my most balanced possible take on the situation.
Hopefully this fumble is not indicative of what’s to come. But it ain’t looking great.
And PS- access is a hell of a drug pic.twitter.com/flRuiZBhvc

Today’s Epstein Files release, given to a select group of journalists and influencers, didn’t contain any new names or details of note. It was a nothingburger… And considering that Epstein was likely a Mossad honeypot operation, what did you expect?
…
Attorney General Pam Bondi announced on Thursday that there are still “thousands of pages” of documents in the FBI’s investigation into Epstein that were withheld from her – which she’s demanded by Friday morning at 8AM.
Japan Births Fall to Lowest in 125 Years
February 27th, 2025Via: Financial Times:
The number of babies born in Japan last year fell to the lowest level since records began 125 years ago as the country’s demographic crisis deepens and government efforts to reverse the decline continue to fail.
Japan recorded 720,988 births in 2024, according to preliminary government figures published on Thursday.
The number has declined for nine straight years and appears to be largely unaffected by financial and other government incentives for married couples to produce more children.
The 2024 figure is a 5 per cent drop from the previous year and the lowest since records began during Japan’s Meiji era in 1899.
Combined with a record 1.6mn deaths last year, the figures mean Japan’s population shrank by almost 900,000 people, net of immigration figures.
In 2023, Japan’s then-prime minister Fumio Kishida warned that the country stood on the verge of “whether we can continue to function as a society” because of its shrinking and ageing population.
