Ghislaine Maxwell has been found guilty of sex trafficking and other charges.
After six days of deliberation, a jury of six men and six women found the British socialite guilty on five of six counts – all except enticing an individual under the age of 17 to travel with intent to engage in illegal sex acts.
She faces a maximum sentence of 65 years in prison for all five counts. The sixth count – sex trafficking of an individual under the age of 18- carries a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison. A sentencing date has not been set.
Alexa Tells 10-Year-Old Girl to Touch Live Plug with Penny

Amazon has updated its Alexa voice assistant after it “challenged” a 10-year-old girl to touch a coin to the prongs of a half-inserted plug.
The suggestion came after the girl asked Alexa for a “challenge to do”.
“Plug in a phone charger about halfway into a wall outlet, then touch a penny to the exposed prongs,” the smart speaker said.
Amazon said it fixed the error as soon as the company became aware of it.
TuSimple Completes Its First Driverless Autonomous Truck Run in Arizona

Technology firm TuSimple this week completed testing of its driverless semitruck in Arizona.
The company said on Wednesday that the truck successfully accomplished an 80-mile route on public roads, according to The Associated Press.
The truck, which was led and flanked by vehicles prepared to step in if necessary, began its trip at a railyard in Tucson and traveled all the way to a Phoenix distribution center. TuSimple told the AP that the semi was able to navigate lane changes, off ramps and traffic signals without issue, “naturally interacting with other motorists.”
COVID-19 Will Become ‘Just Another Cause of Common Cold’: UK Professor

COVID-19 will become “just another cause of the common cold” and people who test positive will have to be allowed to go about their normal lives as they would do with any other cold, a British medical professor has said.
Paul Hunter, professor in medicine at the University of East Anglia, told BBC Breakfast on Dec. 28: “COVID is only one virus of a family of coronaviruses, and the other coronaviruses throw off new variants typically every year or so, and that’s almost certainly what’s going to happen with COVID—it will become effectively just another cause of the common cold.”
Hunter said that, at some point, the daily reporting of COVID-19 case numbers will no longer be warranted.

Appearing on ABC Sunday, Fauci noted “A vaccine requirement for a person getting on the plane is just another level of getting people to have a mechanism that would spur them to get vaccinated.”
The comments came as part of a discussion on applying vaccine mandates to air travel.
Far from following any ‘science’, Fauci admitted that “anything that could get people more vaccinated would be welcome.”
