Anduril and Meta are partnering to design, build, and field a range of integrated XR products that provide warfighters with enhanced perception and enable intuitive control of autonomous platforms on the battlefield. The capabilities enabled by the partnership will draw on more than a decade of investment by both companies in advanced hardware, software, and artificial intelligence. The effort has been funded through private capital, without taxpayer support, and is designed to save the U.S. military billions of dollars by utilizing high-performance components and technology originally built for commercial use.
“Everyone Is Cheating Their Way Through College”
May 29th, 2025These videos from Truthstream Media could have gotten the point across much more effectively if they were about 90% shorter. However, if you want a sort of hysterical, cathartic release, that goes on and on, they have you covered.
In summary: AI is going to rot the brains of young people who use it before they develop critical thinking skills and other cognitive abilities, or atrophy these abilities in older people. AI can then be used to fill these smooth brained meat sacks with whatever nonsense the corporate overlords desire.
So it goes…
Via: New York Magazine:
Whenever Wendy uses AI to write an essay (which is to say, whenever she writes an essay), she follows three steps. Step one: “I say, ‘I’m a first-year college student. I’m taking this English class.’” Otherwise, Wendy said, “it will give you a very advanced, very complicated writing style, and you don’t want that.” Step two: Wendy provides some background on the class she’s taking before copy-and-pasting her professor’s instructions into the chatbot. Step three: “Then I ask, ‘According to the prompt, can you please provide me an outline or an organization to give me a structure so that I can follow and write my essay?’ It then gives me an outline, introduction, topic sentences, paragraph one, paragraph two, paragraph three.” Sometimes, Wendy asks for a bullet list of ideas to support or refute a given argument: “I have difficulty with organization, and this makes it really easy for me to follow.”
Once the chatbot had outlined Wendy’s essay, providing her with a list of topic sentences and bullet points of ideas, all she had to do was fill it in. Wendy delivered a tidy five-page paper at an acceptably tardy 10:17 a.m. When I asked her how she did on the assignment, she said she got a good grade. “I really like writing,” she said, sounding strangely nostalgic for her high-school English class — the last time she wrote an essay unassisted. “Honestly,” she continued, “I think there is beauty in trying to plan your essay. You learn a lot. You have to think, Oh, what can I write in this paragraph? Or What should my thesis be??” But she’d rather get good grades. “An essay with ChatGPT, it’s like it just gives you straight up what you have to follow. You just don’t really have to think that much.”

Covid Vaccines Do Not Contain Bluetooth Devices
May 28th, 2025“The first principle is that you must not fool yourself — and you are the easiest person to fool.” —Richard Feynman
For years, people have been submitting articles and videos to me alleging that covid vaccines somehow install Bluetooth radios in people who have taken the shots.
And now, there’s a documentary film coming out about it.
I have decades of experience in the IT industry; system administration, network design and network security. I have red teamed networks for companies.
Even though I was sure this Bluetooth-vax thing was nonsense, I tried to find evidence that it was happening. After all, experimentation trumps theory every time.
I attended family gatherings full of people who have been covid vaccinated to (literally) the point of death.
Do you know how many times I found any Bluetooth anomalies after several scans around these people? Zero.
My guess is that this story originated as some sort of professional PSYOP to discredit people mentioning the very real and serious concerns with the covid mRNA vaccines. Most people, lacking even the most basic technical knowledge, are easily mislead and could be used to spread this Bluetooth-vax disinformation payload far and wide.
The next thing you know, the likes of MSNBC and CNN will be talking about how conspiracy theorists are causing vaccine hesitancy by spreading nonsense about Bluetooth radios in vaccines.
I am, of course, happy to be proven wrong. I would like to hear from anyone with any tier of Cisco certification (or any other relevant technical certification) who has personally found evidence that this Bluetooth-vax thing is happening and can describe the exact protocol (Wireshark settings, etc) I can use to see it for myself. (I’m not holding my breath, waiting for this to happen.)
Tell me the protocol you followed to monitor the alleged signals so I can do it myself. That’s it. If this is real, it should be a simple thing to verify.
If you’re holding your head in your hands at how dumb this is, I apologize, but this is an example of how mass PSYOP works. If I didn’t write this, to get ahead of it, I’d be deluged by well meaning people sending this to me.
And to these filmmakers, I’d like to add: If you don’t include multiple wireless networking professionals (stating names and credentials), to present proof, you will be outing yourselves as disinformation peddlers.

Court Strikes Down Trump’s Tariffs, “Ruling the Levies Exceed the President’s Legal Authority”
May 28th, 2025Update: Trump’s Tariffs to Remain in Effect After Appeals Court Grants Stay
Via: YahooFinance:
A federal appeals court allowed President Trump’s sweeping tariffs to temporarily stay in effect, a day after the US Court of International Trade blocked their implementation after deeming the method used to enact them “unlawful.”
That means Trump’s tariff agenda remains intact, if in flux, in the latest twist in the unfolding legal saga.

Maybe I need a new category: Chaos.
What’s next? More months of uncertainty and flip flopping as the Trump administration goes through appeals?
Via: CBS:
A federal court on Wednesday froze many of the large-scale tariffs imposed by President Trump on virtually every foreign nation, ruling the levies exceed the president’s legal authority.
The ruling — issued by a panel of judges on the U.S. Court of International Trade — halted the sweeping 10% tariffs Mr. Trump assessed on virtually every U.S. trading partner on “Liberation Day” last month, with higher tariffs threatened for dozens of countries. The court also blocked a separate set of tariffs imposed on China, Mexico and Canada by the Trump administration, which has cited drug trafficking and illegal immigration as its reasoning for the hikes.
The Trump administration has justified the tariffs by citing the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977, or IEEPA, which gives the president the power to regulate imports during certain emergency situations. But the court on Wednesday rejected the government’s interpretation of the law, and said it would be unconstitutional for any law passed by Congress to give the president blanket authority to set tariffs.
“The court does not read IEEPA to confer such unbounded authority and sets aside the challenged tariffs imposed thereunder,” the judges wrote Wednesday.
The court said Mr. Trump’s global 10% tariffs aren’t authorized by IEEPA because they’re designed to deal with trade imbalances between the U.S. and the rest of the world, which the judges said should fall under non-emergency legislation.
And the China, Canada and Mexico tariffs aren’t legal because they “do not deal with the threats set forth in those orders,” the court also found.
The three judges who wrote Wednesday’s ruling were nominated to the bench by former President Ronald Reagan, former President Barack Obama and Mr. Trump in his first term.
The Trump administration signaled in court papers it will appeal the ruling to the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals.
Boston Dynamics: Perception and Adaptability
May 28th, 2025Classical robotic systems involve machines carrying out very specific, repeatable tasks with high precision. Automobile manufacturers have been using these types of robots in their factories for several decades.
What you’re looking at below is the beginning on the end of the those manufacturing jobs that were either impossible, or too expensive, to automate.
To avoid U.S. tariffs, foreign companies have to make products in the U.S. Nobody said anything about having to use human labor in the process.
Boston Dynamics is owned by Hyundai Motor Group. Here’s what Hyundai has planned in the U.S.:
Hyundai Motor Group will automate 40% of assembly at Metaplant America in Savannah using its humanoid robot, Atlas. The move seeks to boost local output, uphold price competitiveness, and expand its North American market share.
Hyundai plans to deploy Atlas, its self-developed humanoid robot, to handle tasks like lifting parts and attaching vehicle doors. Additional specialized robots will support parts assembly, transport, line monitoring, and body inspection to boost manufacturing efficiency.
Hyundai expects to automate nearly half of its assembly processes, including stamping and welding, which will cut costs and enhance quality.

Penn Engineers Discover a New Class of Materials That Passively Harvest Water from Air
May 26th, 2025Via: University of Pennsylvania:
A serendipitous observation in a Chemical Engineering lab at Penn Engineering has led to a surprising discovery: a new class of nanostructured materials that can pull water from the air, collect it in pores and release it onto surfaces without the need for any external energy.
…
When water condenses on surfaces, it usually requires either a drop in temperature or very high humidity levels. Conventional water harvesting methods rely on these principles, often requiring energy input to chill surfaces or a dense fog to form to collect water passively from humid environments. But Lee and Patel’s system works differently.
Instead of cooling, their material relies on capillary condensation, a process where water vapor condenses inside tiny pores even at lower humidity. This is not new. What is new is that in their system, the water doesn’t just stay trapped inside the pores, as it usually does in these types of materials.
“In typical nanoporous materials, once the water enters the pores, it stays there,” explains Patel. “But in our material, the water moves, first condensing inside the pores, then emerging onto the surface as droplets. That’s never been seen before in a system like this, and at first we doubted our observations.”

No More Range Restrictions on Ukraine’s Use of NATO Weapons Inside Russia
May 26th, 2025Via: AFP:
Chancellor Friedrich Merz said on Monday, May 26, that Germany, along with Ukraine’s other key Western backers, had lifted range restrictions on weapons they send to Kyiv to fight against Russia. Merz, who took office early this month, also vowed that “we will do everything in our power to continue supporting Ukraine, including militarily,” in close coordination with other supporters.
“There are no longer any range restrictions on weapons delivered to Ukraine – neither by the British nor by the French nor by us nor by the Americans,” he said. “This means that Ukraine can now defend itself, for example, by attacking military positions in Russia… With very few exceptions, it didn’t do that until recently. It can now do that.”
