Biden Administration Labeled Opponents Of Covid Mandates As “Domestic Violent Extremists,” Newly Released Documents Show

May 24th, 2025

Via: Michael Shellenberger:

The Biden Administration labeled Americans who opposed the COVID-19 vaccination and mask mandates as “Domestic Violent Extremists,” or DVEs, according to newly declassified intelligence records obtained by Public and Catherine Herridge Reports. The designation created an “articulable purpose” for FBI or other government agents to open an “assessment” of individuals, which is often the first step toward a formal investigation, said a former FBI agent.

“French Minister Dials Back Suggestion to Get Rid of Cash”

May 23rd, 2025

A little woopsee slipped out.

Via: Politico:

France isn’t getting rid of cash, Justice Minister Gérald Darmanin clarified on Friday after telling lawmakers a day earlier that the move would help stop drug trafficking.

In an interview with radio station RTL, Darmanin recognized that getting rid of banknotes was unpopular and that the government lacked the “political means” to take a move that would significantly affect the everyday lives of millions of people.

Darmanin said a debate on the future of cash would require “a lengthy discussion with French people,” especially to address the concerns of small businesses and older citizens.

Trump Orders Dramatic Speedup of U.S. Nuclear Energy Development, “Win the AI Arms Race with China”

So it goes…

Via: EENews:

President Donald Trump on Friday directed his administration to launch fast-track development of new nuclear power plants, ordering the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to complete licensing of new reactor designs within 18 months and the Department of Energy to speed up reactor testing and start building on federally owned land over the next three years.

“President Trump is taking truly historic action to usher in the American nuclear renaissance,” White House science adviser Michael Kratsios said Friday in a briefing for reporters.

One of four executive orders signed by Trump assigns DOE and the Defense Department to oversee construction of new reactors “to power and operate critical defense facilities” and to power data centers and artificial intelligence programs.

Biden Officials Knew About Potential COVID-19 Vaccine Risks, Took Steps to Downplay Them

May 22nd, 2025

Via: New York Post:

Top federal health officials actively took steps to “delay warning the public” for months in 2021 about the potential risks of heart-related complications from receiving mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, a scathing interim report from Sen. Ron Johnson’s office alleges.

Starting in February 2021, federal health agencies had been alerted to “large reports of myocarditis” in young people who received the Pfizer vaccine, but waited until late June that year to adjust the vaccine labels to make that side effect known.

“Even though CDC and FDA officials were well aware of the risk of myocarditis following COVID-19 vaccination, the Biden administration opted to withhold issuing a formal warning to the public for months about the safety concerns, jeopardizing the health of young Americans,” the 54-page interim report said.

During the time it took health officials to adjust the labels, doctors who warned about the potential risks of myocarditis among those who took the vaccine were subject to censorship, suppression or accusations of peddling misinformation.

“CERN Gears Up To Ship Antimatter Across Europe”

May 21st, 2025

Via: Ars Technica:

There’s a lot of matter around, which ensures that any antimatter produced experiences a very short lifespan. Studying antimatter, therefore, has been extremely difficult. But that’s changed a bit in recent years, as CERN has set up a facility that produces and traps antimatter, allowing for extensive studies of its properties, including entire anti-atoms.

Unfortunately, the hardware used to capture antiprotons also produces interference that limits the precision with which measurements can be made. So CERN decided that it might be good to determine how to move the antimatter away from where it’s produced. Since it was tackling that problem anyway, CERN decided to make a shipping container for antimatter, allowing it to be put on a truck and potentially taken to labs throughout Europe.

China’s Drone Mothership

May 21st, 2025

Via: Telegraph:

China is preparing to launch a new drone-carrying mothership capable of releasing 100 kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at the same time.

The Jiu Tan, which means “high sky”, is a high-altitude long-range UAV that can transport weapons and equipment.

Over the weekend, state media reported that the fourth prototype had completed its structural assembly and was undergoing installation and testing. It will set off on its maiden flight next month as China looks to boost its air force capabilities.

The vehicle has a 25-metre wingspan and can fly for 12 hours, with a maximum range of 7,000 kilometres (4,350 miles). It has a take-off weight of 16 tons and a transporting capacity of six tons, which could be used to carry anything from surveillance technology to ammunition.
