Joe Biden Pardons Son Hunter Biden in Gun and Tax Cases, Covers All Offenses Committed Between Jan. 1, 2014 and Dec. 1, 2024

December 1st, 2024

Via: New York Post:

President Biden signed a pardon for his son Hunter Sunday after the younger Biden was convicted of federal gun charges and federal tax evasion charges earlier this year, the outgoing Democrat announced.

Biden, 82, claimed he was taking the controversial action after he watched his son being “selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted.”

The about-face comes after the president, who played a recurring role in the Chinese and Ukrainian business relationships involved in the tax case, previously claimed he would not offer a pardon for Hunter, 54.

The pardon’s language, which was posted online along with the 46th president’s statement, covers all offenses committed by Hunter against the US between Jan. 1, 2014 and Dec. 1, 2024, including any crimes he has not been charged for.

IMF Calls For Economy-Crushing Carbon Restrictions That Dwarf COVID Lockdowns

November 30th, 2024

Via: ZeroHedge:

At the height of the covid lockdowns and mandates a massive portion of the global economy was shut down, leading to supply chain instability, huge job losses and a stagflationary crisis. However, climate change propagandists argued that the event was actually a positive for the planet when it was revealed that emissions fell by 5.4%. They asserted that the covid lockdowns were a practice run for what they called “climate lockdowns” – Presenting a plan for scheduled disruptions to global economic activity as a means to slow the effects of climate change.

Globalists also presented climate lockdowns as a kind of collective social punishment in the event that populations refused to cut carbon output on their own. As World Economic Forum “Agenda Contributor” Mariana Mazzucato argued in 2020:

“Under a “climate lockdown,” governments would limit private-vehicle use, ban consumption of red meat, and impose extreme energy-saving measures, while fossil-fuel companies would have to stop drilling. To avoid such a scenario, we must overhaul our economic structures and do capitalism differently.

Australia Passes Social Media Ban for Children Under 16

November 28th, 2024

Australia’s “Social Media Ban” Is Digital ID via the Backdoor:

The plan couldn’t be more obvious.

Step 1 – Create digital ID.
Step 2 – Enforce its use via “think of the children” messaging.

…that’s it. It’s a two step plan.

Via: Reuters:

Australia approved on Thursday a social media ban for children aged under 16 after an emotive debate that has gripped the nation, setting a benchmark for jurisdictions around the world with one of the toughest regulations targeting Big Tech.

The law forces tech giants from Instagram and Facebook owner Meta, opens new tab to TikTok to stop minors logging in or face fines of up to A$49.5 million ($32 million). A trial of methods to enforce it will start in January with the ban to take effect in a year.

Record numbers of US executives are selling shares in their companies, as corporate insiders from Goldman Sachs to Tesla and even Donald Trump’s own media group cash in on the stock market surge that has followed his election victory.

The rate of so-called insider sales has hit a record high for any quarter in two decades, according to VerityData. The sales, by executives at companies in the Wilshire 5000 index, include one-off profit-taking transactions as well as regular sales triggered by executives’ automatic trading plans. The Wilshire 5000 is one of the broadest indices of US companies.

Trying to Solve Fusion Power Generation with AI

November 26th, 2024

Via: The Chemical Engineer:

FUSION energy development is locked in step with artificial intelligence (AI), according to the findings of a new survey into how companies are using it to rapidly iterate their technology.

There’s a well-worn putdown that nuclear fusion has struggled to shake: that the technology is only 30 years from commercial application, just as it was three decades ago. This could be set to change with a report from the US Clean Air Task Force describing how fusion developers are using AI and high-performance computing (HPC) to accelerate design, materials selection, and control systems in a bid to bring an end to this alleged Sisyphean task.

“Artificial intelligence is advancing at an unprecedented rate, driving demand for clean firm power,” said Sehila Gonzalez de Vicente, global director of Fusion Energy at the US Clean Air Task Force. “Fusion energy has the potential to help meet that demand with a stable, emissions-free power source that can operate around the clock. We see a unique opportunity for these technologies to progress hand in hand, with AI helping accelerate fusion’s development while fusion provides the clean energy necessary to sustain AI energy demand. This symbiotic relationship could be transformative for technological innovation and the climate.”

Arrest Warrants Issued by International Criminal Court for Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Hamas Military Chief Mohammed Deif

November 25th, 2024

“International law is that law which the wicked do not obey and the righteous do not enforce.”

—Abba Eban, Israeli diplomat and politician

Good luck with that.

Via: France24:

The International Criminal Court (ICC) earned Israel’s ire with its controversial decision to issue arrest warrants for Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and former defence minister Yoav Gallant for crimes allegedly committed in the Gaza Strip as part of the Israeli offensive in response to the deadly Hamas attacks of October 7, 2023.

The ICC said in its statement there were “reasonable grounds to believe” that Netanyahu and Gallant had committed war crimes and crimes against humanity, notably by “using starvation as a method of warfare” and “intentionally” targeting civilians. Hamas military chief Mohammad Deif, for his part, was accused of committing crimes against humanity including murder, torture and rape.

Netanyahu immediately rejected the ICC decision against him and Gallant as “anti-Semitic”.

Trump Vows New Canada, Mexico, China Tariffs that Threaten Global Trade

November 25th, 2024

Do you need any electronics, mobile phones, computers, displays, or any other things not made in the U.S.?

Even if companies were to capitulate and build factories in the U.S. (some will, most won’t) it’s not going to happen in time.

Via: Reuters:

President-elect Donald Trump on Monday pledged big tariffs on the United States’ three largest trading partners – Canada, Mexico and China – detailing how he will implement campaign promises that could trigger trade wars.

Trump, who takes office on Jan. 20, 2025, said he would impose a 25% tariff on Canada and Mexico until they clamp down on drugs, particularly fentanyl, and migrants crossing the border, in a move that would appear to violate a free-trade deal.

Trump also outlined “an additional 10% tariff, above any additional tariffs” on China, in some of his most specific comments on how he will implement his economic agenda since winning the Nov. 5 election on promises to “put America first”.
