Popular Snacks for Children Contain Dangerous Levels of Lead, Cadmium

April 11th, 2024

Via: Daily Mail:

Analysis of a popular kids’ favorite snack has prompted a campaign to ban it after it was found it contained dangerous levels of toxic metals which have been linked to kidney and bone disease and cancer.

The watchdog group Consumer Reports tested 12 store-bought versions of Lunchables and other ready-meal kits, including from Armour LunchMakers, Good & Gather, Greenfield Natural Meat Co. and Oscar Mayer.

All had contained the metals lead, cadmium, or both, as well as high levels of sodium. According to the CDC, there is no safe level of lead for children, and the effects on brain development can show up years later.

Lead accumulates in the body, meaning it does not leave your system and builds up over time, so long-term exposure to even low levels can become toxic.

As a result, the non-profit consumer group has petitioned the US Department of Agriculture, which heads up the federally assisted school meal program, to get rid of the Lunchables snack kits from school cafeterias.

U.S. National Debt Interest Exceeds Defense Spending

April 10th, 2024

Via: Fox Business:

The latest budget update from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) found that the federal government has spent more on paying interest on the national debt than on the military in fiscal year 2024.

The CBO’s budget report for March showed that the U.S. has spent $412 billion on military programs at the Department of Defense through the first half of FY2024, according to preliminary figures from CBO and the Treasury Department.

That represents an increase of $26 billion, or 8%, from the amount spent in the March through October period last year, but it has been surpassed by the rapidly growing cost of servicing the national debt.

Interest expenses incurred from the more than $34 trillion national debt totaled $440 billion in the first six months of FY2024 – an increase of $133 billion, or 43%, from the first half of FY2023.

Rand Paul: 15 US Agencies Knew Wuhan Lab Was “Trying To Create A Coronavirus Like COVID-19”

April 10th, 2024

Via: ZeroHedge:

It means that at least 15 federal agencies knew from the beginning of the pandemic that EcoHealth Alliance and the Wuhan Institute of Virology were seeking federal funding in 2018 to create a virus genetically very similar if not identical to COVID-19.

Disturbingly, not one of these 15 agencies spoke up to warn us that the Wuhan Institute of Virology had been pitching this research. Not one of these agencies warned anyone that this Chinese lab had already put together plans to create such a virus.

Peter Daszak concealed this proposal. University of North Carolina scientist Ralph Baric, a named collaborator on the DEFUSE project, failed to reveal that the Wuhan Institute of Virology had already proposed to create a virus similar to COVID-19.

And now we know that 15 agencies heard the proposal and when each agency discovered that COVID-19 was strangely similar to DEFUSE’s proposed virus creation, not one agency head stepped forward to warn the public that the virus might be man-made and therefore already adapted to transmit freely among humans.

Wells Fargo Thinks Costco Is Selling Up To $200 Million In Gold Bars Per Month

April 10th, 2024

Via: ZeroHedge:

Last December, wholesale retailer Costco announced that they had sold over $100 million worth of gold in Q3 2023.

“You’ve probably read about the fact that we’re selling one-ounce gold bars. We sold over $100 million of gold during the quarter,” sad CFO Richard Galenti.

Now, Wells Fargo estimates that Costco “may now be running at” $100 million to $200 million per month in gold sales.

“Our work suggests there has been significant interest given COST’s aggressive pricing and high level of customer trust,” said analyst Edward Kelly in a Tuesday note to clients. “The accelerating frequency of Reddit posts, quick on-line sell-outs of product, and COST’s robust monthly eComm sales suggests a sharp uptick in momentum since the launch,” CNBC reports.

Costco is selling one-ounce bars made of nearly pure 24-karat gold. While the price is not disclosed online to nonmembers, it’s estimated that the product generally sells for about 2% above the spot price, which as of Tuesday morning was around $2,357 an ounce. That would put the price at Costco just over $2,400.

Cash-Strapped Argentines Queue for Eye Scans

April 9th, 2024

Via: AFP:

Argentines eyeing a financial boost are lining up by the thousands to have their irises scanned in exchange for a few crypto tokens as part of an online biometrics project under scrutiny in several countries.

For volunteering their data, initial participants receive 10 tokens each of Worldcoin’s own cryptocurrency, the WLD.

In Argentina, with its notoriously unstable exchange rate, the value differs wildly; when Sosa and Marrero received theirs, 10 tokens were worth the equivalent of about $80.

CDC Releases Hidden COVID-19 Vaccine Injury Reports

April 8th, 2024

Via: Epoch Times:

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released previously hidden reports of facial paralysis and other adverse events following COVID-19 vaccination.

The 780,000 reports were received shortly after the COVID-19 vaccines were rolled out and show that people experienced a wide range of post-vaccination problems, including heart inflammation, miscarriages, and seizures.

People lodged the reports with V-safe, a text-message system created by the CDC to monitor for possible side effects of COVID-19 vaccines.

The CDC, for years, declined to make the V-safe data public, instead publishing studies that described the reports as providing reassurance about the safety of the vaccines. However, according to data released in 2022 as a result of a different lawsuit, nearly 8 percent of the 10 million users required medical attention or hospital care after vaccination, and many others reported missing school, work, or other normal activities.
