Scientists Use AI to Stabilize Nuclear Fusion for the First Time
March 2nd, 2024Via: Interesting Engineering:
Researchers at Princeton University have developed an AI controller that can predict plasma instabilities in a nuclear fusion reaction and adjust the plasma conditions to suit the ongoing reaction.
…
The AI processes this real-time data and allows researchers to predict how the plasma will behave under different conditions. With the help of the AI, they can predict any instability 300 milliseconds before it occurs.
Meanwhile, based on the real-time information and their proposed outcomes, they can test various methods that can be used to control and stabilize the plasma by manipulating its conditions.
While 300 ms may sound like no time to a normal person, the study authors claim that this duration would be enough to make any changes to ensure the stability of the reaction.

U.S. National Debt Rising by $1 Trillion About Every 100 Days
March 2nd, 2024Via: CNBC:
The debt load of the U.S. is growing at a quicker clip in recent months, increasing about $1 trillion nearly every 100 days.
The nation’s debt permanently crossed over to $34 trillion on Jan. 4, after briefly crossing the mark on Dec. 29, according to data from the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Childhood Vaccine Schedule Led to ‘Greatest Decline in Public Health in Human History’

“For every one child that is saved from death from COVID-19, there are 30 child deaths associated with the COVID-19 vaccine.”
Dr. Brian Hooker testifies against lack of oversight on ALL vaccines.
Study Comparing Vaccinated and Unvaccinated Children (2020):
• Vaccinated children were found to be at least twice as likely to be diagnosed with developmental delays, ear infections, and gastrointestinal disorders.
• Vaccinated children had a 4.5 times higher likelihood of an asthma diagnosis compared to unvaccinated children.
Dr. Hooker revealed that the CDC possesses a Vaccine Safety Datalink with potential for comparative studies between vaccinated and unvaccinated children but refuses to allow independent researchers access or publish results from such data.

Largest Wildfire in Texas History, “Likely Killed Tens of Thousands of Livestock”
February 29th, 2024Via: Reuters:
Wildfires raging in the Texas Panhandle have destroyed grain in storage bins and likely killed tens of thousands of livestock, state Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller said in an interview on Thursday.
A blaze, dubbed the Smokehouse Creek fire, is the largest in Texas history and burning grazing lands covered with years of grass that are helping to fuel the fire, Miller said.
“It’s almost like gasoline when it goes up,” he said. “We have now lost over a million acres.”
Japan: Fresh Record Low Births, “Gravest Crisis”
February 29th, 2024Via: Reuters:
The number of babies born in Japan fell for an eighth straight year to a fresh record low in 2023, preliminary government data showed on Tuesday, underscoring the daunting task the country faces in trying to stem depopulation.
The number of births fell 5.1% from a year earlier to 758,631, while the number of marriages slid 5.9% to 489,281 — the first time in 90 years the number fell below 500,000 — foreboding a further decline in the population as out-of-wedlock births are rare in Japan.
…
“The declining birthrate is in a critical situation,” Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshimasa Hayashi told reporters. “The next six years or so until 2030, when the number of young people will rapidly decline, will be the last chance to reverse the trend.”
Mindful of the potential social and economic impact, and the strains on public finances, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has called the trend the “gravest crisis our country faces”, and unveiled a range of steps to support child-bearing households late last year.

Targeted Ads: Pentagon Surveillance Program Taps, “The Largest Information-Gathering Enterprise Ever Conceived by Man.”

We must assume that they are using the full spectrum of surveillance information to try to PREDICT HOW EACH OF US IS LIKELY TO BEHAVE ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS.
The following Wired piece is adapted from: Means of Control: How the Hidden Alliance of Tech and Government Is Creating a New American Surveillance State by Byron Tau
Via: Wired:
Geolocation is the single most valuable piece of commercial data to come off those devices. Understanding the movement of phones is now a multibillion-dollar industry. It can be used to deliver targeted advertising based on location for, say, a restaurant chain that wants to deliver targeted ads to people nearby. It can be used to measure consumer behavior and the effectiveness of advertising. How many people saw an ad and later visited a store? And the analytics can be used for planning and investment decisions. Where is the best location to put a new store? Will there be enough foot traffic to sustain such a business? Is the number of people visiting a certain retailer going up or down this month, and what does that mean for the retailer’s stock price?
But this kind of data is good for something else. It has remarkable surveillance potential. Why? Because what we do in the world with our devices cannot truly be anonymized. The fact that advertisers know Marcela as bdca712j-fb3c-33ad-2324-0794d394m912 as they’re watching her move around the online and offline worlds offers her almost no privacy protection. Taken together, her habits and routines are unique to her. Our real-world movement is highly specific and personal to all of us. For many years, I lived in a small 13-unit walk-up in Washington, DC. I was the only person waking up every morning at that address and going to The Wall Street Journal’s offices. Even if I was just an anonymized number, my behavior was as unique as a fingerprint even in a sea of hundreds of millions of others. There was no way to anonymize my identity in a data set like geolocation. Where a phone spends most of its evenings is a good proxy for where its owner lives. Advertisers know this.
Governments know this too. And Yeagley was part of a team that would try to find out how they could exploit it.
