CEO of IBM Coerces Employees, Threatens to Cut Bonuses Unless They Discriminate in Hiring

December 12th, 2023

Via: James O’Keefe:

CEO of IBM @ArvindKrishna admits to using coercion to fire people and take away their bonuses unless they discriminate in the hiring process.

“You got to move both forward by a percentage that leads to a plus on your bonus,” Krishna said about hiring Hispanics, “and by the way if you lose, you lose part of your bonus.”

After pulling ads from X for ‘racism,’ IBM chief Arvind Krishna says he will fire, demote or strip bonuses from execs who don’t hire enough blacks, Hispanics — or hire too many Asians

“Asians are not an underrepresented minority in tech in America…I’m not going to finess this, for blacks we should try to get towards 13 percent,” says Krishna.

Paul Cormier, the chairman of Red Hat, a subsidiary of IBM, says in the leaked recording that Red Hat has terminated people because they weren’t willing to engage in racial discrimination through hiring and promotion.

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act makes it illegal for employers to discriminate on the basis of race in the workplace.

“This Cyborg Cockroach Could be the Future of Earthquake Search and Rescue”

December 10th, 2023

Speaking of creatures carrying surveillance and remote control equipment…

Via: Nature:

Hirotaka Sato was in Tokyo when the earthquake struck in March 2011. The tremors destroyed tens of thousands of buildings and triggered a tsunami that battered Japan’s east coast, including the Fukushima nuclear power plant. More than 18,000 people died or were never found. As Sato watched desperate search-and-rescue missions unfold, he thought, “I need to develop the technology to save people.”

The solution he soon envisaged — and which has occupied him ever since — was a cyborg insect. He imagined a swarm of live creatures scurrying through the rubble, controlled when necessary by remotely operated electrodes implanted in the insects’ nervous systems. The creatures would carry mounted sensors capable of identifying survivors, along with transmitters to signal their location to rescue workers.

Sato — now an engineer at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore — has chosen the Madagascar hissing cockroach (Gromphadorhina portentosa) as the basis for his rescue squad. These 5-centimetre-long creatures can carry up to 15 grams of mounted technology, which currently includes an infrared camera and a processor capable of detecting living people. Sato’s team can remotely steer the insects left, right and forwards, or leave them to autonomously navigate to programmed destinations.

UN Climate Delegates Served “Slabs of Succulent Meat” and “Smoked Wagyu Burgers” Ahead of Calling for Lower Meat Consumption

December 10th, 2023

Via: Fox:

The ongoing United Nations COP28 climate summit in Dubai is offering a wide variety of gourmet food options from vendors who serve beef, even as it prepares a report that is expected to call for the West to reduce consumption of beef.

According to the summit’s online portal, its food offerings include “juicy beef,” “slabs of succulent meat,” smoked wagyu burgers, Philly cheesesteaks and “melt-in-your-mouth BBQ” in addition to African street BBQ, fast casual Mexican fare and an Asian option that has a “touch of French flair.” The revelation comes as the U.N. faces criticism for preparing a first-of-its-kind report that is expected to be published at the summit and call for lower meat consumption.

Alex Jones Back on X

December 10th, 2023

Musk posted the poll after Alex went on Tucker’s show:

@RealAlexJones has added over 300K followers over the past few hours. He’s over a million now.

Say whatever you want about Alex Jones, but the fact is that he’s more right than he is wrong and millions of people are closer to figuring things out than they would be without him.

During the interview with Tucker, that was just about the calmest I’ve ever seen Alex Jones.

Via: ZeroHedge:

“The people have spoken, and so it shall be,” Elon Musk posted on X in reply to a poll on Saturday asking users whether to reinstate Alex Jones’ account.

“Reinstate Alex Jones on this platform?” Musk asked. Nearly two million X users voted, with more than 70% voting in favor of Jones’ return.

Netflix: Leave The World Behind

December 9th, 2023

Update: Obey NASA. Moon. Friends.

I watched the Obama’s tedious PSYOP film, Leave the World Behind, thinking it would just be about some false flag Internet down scenario.

There is, however… Something else happening here.

Obey NASA. Twice. The American flag on the moon. Friends.

In, The Incredibly Eerie Circumstances Surrounding Matthew Perry’s Death, we learned that Friends star, Matthew Perry, was posting images of the moon immediately before his death.

Even I rolled my eyes at that one. I mean, who cares what some addled ex-junkie posted on Instagram just before he went to vaccine heaven?

Now playing, exclusively on Netflix:

One more thing. Julia Roberts, the star of Leave the World Behind, was Matthew Perry’s ex-girlfriend.

Update: Executive Producers: Barack and Michelle Obama

Yep. Believe it or not.

Via: USA Today:

Esmail spoke to USA TODAY about reworking elements of the book to fit his film, how Roberts was his first choice for prickly Amanda, and getting script notes from former President Barack Obama, who helped back the film through his and Michelle Obama’s production company Higher Ground.

December 9th, 2023

Oh my.

Via: Asahi Shimbun:

The government plans to make university tuition free to households with three or more children starting from fiscal 2025, with no income limit.

The aim is to make it easier for families to have more children by reducing the burden of educational expenses.

As part of unprecedented measures to tackle the declining birthrate, the government will incorporate the initiative into the package dubbed the Children’s Future Strategy Policy. It is expected to be decided at a Cabinet meeting by the end of this month.

The government plans to include not only university students, but also those in junior colleges and technical colleges.

Via: Asahi Shimbun:

Hundreds of tons of dead sardines washed up on a beach in northern Japan, prompting speculation a school of fish was suddenly deprived of oxygen for some reason.

A silver blanket of dead fish covered a roughly 1.5-kilometer stretch of shoreline around Toi fishing port in southern Hakodate on the northernmost main island of Hokkaido.

Officials estimated that at least 1,000 tons of mostly sardines but some mackerel washed ashore Dec. 7 but made clear the figure could be higher.
