Iranian state media posted images and video of Ali Shamkhani, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, with Saudi national security adviser Musaad bin Mohammed al-Aiban and Wang Yi, China’s most senior diplomat.
“After implementing the decision, the foreign ministers of both nations will meet to prepare for an exchange of ambassadors,” Iranian state television said.
America’s Secret Censorship-Industrial Complex

Via: Michael Shellenberger:
Our findings are shocking. A highly-organized network of U.S. government agencies and government contractors has been creating blacklists and pressuring social media companies to censor Americans, often without them knowing it.
…
These organizations and others are also running their own influence operations, often under the guise of “fact-checking.” The intellectual leaders of the censorship complex have convinced journalists and social media executives that accurate information is disinformation, that valid hypotheses are conspiracy theories, and that greater self-censorship results in more accurate reporting. In many instances, censorship, such as labeling social media posts, is part of the influence operation aimed at discrediting factual information.

U.S. Worries China Will Use Supply Chains As Weapon
March 8th, 2023My commentary from, U.S. Seeks Allies’ Backing for Possible China Sanctions Over Ukraine War:
If this really kicks off, you should be ready for extremely serious problems.
Outsourcing so much of the supply chain to China was a strategic mistake. Countless people have warned about this over decades, to no avail. The collective-West put itself in a Chinese joint lock.
It’s not publicly known what the proposed sanctions are, but China’s responses could range from causing inconveniences for companies and people in targeted countries to disasters.
And now…
Via: AFP:
The United States increasingly worries that China will use its power in global supply chains as an additional weapon to advance its political and military might, a report released Wednesday showed.
The “Annual Threat Assessment” issued by the Director of National Intelligence said China is already using its supply chain dominance to force foreign companies and countries to transfer technologies and intellectual property to it.
But the US intelligence community sees Beijing using this economic power in parallel with military strength to secure regional and global influence.
“The government of China is capable of leveraging its dominant positions in key global supply chains in an attempt to accomplish its goals, although probably not without significant cost to itself,” the report said.
Taiwan Suspects Chinese Ships Cut Undersea Internet Cables
March 8th, 2023Via: ZeroHedge:
According to Taiwanese authorities, on Feb. 2, a Chinese fishing boat damaged an undersea communications cable that connects Taiwan’s main island to Matsu Islands. About one week later, a Chinese cargo ship severed another cable.
Located approximately 30 miles off the coast of China, the tiny island of Dongyin has quickly established a backup communication system, as reported by the WSJ. The new system uses a high-powered microwave radio to transmit data to Taipei. WSJ described the disruption as a “wartime scenario” and “in a potential preview of a Chinese attack.”
“Congressman Believes U.S. Government Has Found Alien UFOs”
March 8th, 2023I’d love to know why this UFO hype is happening now in the most mainstream of publications.
Via: Newsweek:
A U.S. congressman recently said that he believes the U.S. government has found alien UFOs in the past, following reports of several unidentified flying objects being shot down.
During a recent conversation with Florida Republican Representative Matt Gaetz, Tennessee Representative Tim Burchett said that he believes the U.S. has previously “recovered craft” from possible alien UFOs.
When asked by Gaetz if he believes that the U.S. has recovered craft “that is not from the planet Earth,” Burchett said that “at some point, I believe that has happened.”
“Too many people in the know have told me that, and that we had to do something with these multiple craft that have crashed and we do not have the technology….I just believe it in my heart,” Burchett said. “I’ve talked to too many pilots, top, top pilots, our Navy pilots, the best pilots in the world, that have said this is what they’ve seen.”

Perth Mint Sold Diluted Gold To China, Got Caught, And Tried To Cover It Up
March 7th, 2023Via: ABC:
The historic Perth Mint is facing a potential $9 billion recall of gold bars after selling diluted or “doped” bullion to China and then covering it up, according to a leaked internal report.
Four Corners has uncovered documents charting the WA government-owned mint’s decision to begin “doping” its gold in 2018, and then how it withheld evidence from its largest client in an effort to protect its reputation.
While the gold remained above broader industry standards, the report estimated up to 100 tonnes of gold sent to Shanghai Gold Exchange (SGE) potentially did not comply with Shanghai’s strict purity standards for silver content.
‘The Government Is Trying To Kill Us Now’: Low-Income Americans Fume In Mile-Long Food Lines After Pandemic Benefits End
March 7th, 2023Via: ZeroHedge:
Over the past year, 18 US states have officially ended pandemic-era states of emergency – including the covid food benefit, while a December mandate from Congress will end aid in March for the other 32 states, along with the District of Columbia, the US Virgin Islands and Guam.
The collective return to pre-pandemic policies includes enhanced unemployment benefits and child tax credits, as well as a rollback adjustment to Medicaid that boosted enrollment.
Now, people are waiting up to nine hours in mile-long lines for free food – some of whom say they can only afford to eat once per day, while others say they limit expensive food items such as meat for specific family members, such as growing teenage boys.
