Johns Hopkins Scientist: ‘A Medical Certainty’ Pfizer Vaccine Caused Death of Florida Doctor
January 14th, 2021Via: The Defender:
The Florida Health Department and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are investigating the death of a Florida doctor who died Jan. 3 from a rare autoimmune disorder he developed on Dec. 21, three days after receiving Pfizer’s COVID vaccine.
As The Defender reported last week, Heidi Neckelmann, the wife of Dr. Gregory Michael, said that in her mind, her 56-year-old husband’s death was “100% linked” to the vaccine.
Now, at least one doctor has come forward publicly to say he also believes the vaccine caused Michael to develop acute idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), the disorder that killed him.
According to the New York Times:
“Dr. Jerry L. Spivak, an expert on blood disorders at Johns Hopkins University, who was not involved in Dr. Michael’s care, said that based on Ms. Neckelmann’s description, ‘I think it is a medical certainty that the vaccine was related.’
“‘This is going to be very rare,’ said Dr. Spivak, an emeritus professor of medicine. But he added, ‘It happened and it could happen again.’”
Spivak told the Times he based his reasoning on the fact that Michael’s disorder came on quickly after the shot, and “was so severe that it made his platelet count ‘rocket’ down.”
Spivak also offered two other reasons to back up his theory. One, the fact that Michael was healthier and younger than most people who develop chronic forms of ITP. And two, the fact that about 70% of people who develop ITP are women.
As Spivak told the Times: “A sudden case in a man, especially a relatively young, healthy one, suggests a recent trigger.”

Troops Are Sleeping in the Capitol for the First Time Since the Civil War
January 14th, 2021Via: Roll Call:
Members of the military waking up on the cold marble floors of the Capitol complex Wednesday were likely some of the first to do so in more than 150 years.
“The last time there were troops sleeping in the Capitol itself was during the Civil War,” said Jane L. Campbell, president and CEO of the United States Capitol Historical Society.
A plaque in the Capitol, located next to a bust of President Abraham Lincoln on the first floor where armed guardsmen stretched out, commemorates a time soldiers were quartered in the building “in response to President Lincoln’s call for volunteers.”
The date — April 15, 1861.
Chinese American Socialite Lili Luo Plunges to Death with Baby, Met Hillary Clinton in 2017
January 14th, 2021Via: New York Post:
A Chinese American socialite who once rubbed elbows with Hillary Clinton plunged naked from her penthouse in Hong Kong while holding her 5-month-old daughter in her arms, leaving them both dead, according to reports.
The horrific incident involving 34-year-old Lili Luo and her daughter, Aier, happened on Jan. 6 in Yau Ma Tei, local media reported. The mother and her baby were pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy will determine the cause of death, according to police, who did not publicly identify the woman and her baby.
Authorities are probing whether the woman, who is reportedly the only daughter of real estate tycoon Lin Luo, the chairman of China’s Jinlin Real Estate company, had suffered from post-partum depression, local reports said.

In a July 15, 2017, post, the woman is pictured meeting with former Secretary of State and first lady Hillary Clinton.
Shawn Skelton After Getting Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine, CDC Says Vaccine Side-Effects ‘Tend To Be Mild’
January 14th, 2021Facebook has already deleted it, but there are many mirrors.
Via: Evansville Courier & Press:
Shawn Skelton, the Oakland City woman who went viral with Facebook claims that a COVID-19 vaccine caused her uncontrollable shaking and tongue spasms, is home from the hospital.
Saying she was discharged from Deaconess Orthopedic Neuroscience Hospital with body shaking that doesn’t stop and still no answers, Skelton said Tuesday she doesn’t know what lies ahead. She said an MRI, CT scan and blood cultures failed to produce anything.
“I have no hope so far,” she said. “I’m praying a lot.”
National Guard Gearing Up With Rifles, Riot Shields At The Capitol
January 13th, 2021Via: ZeroHedge:
Moments ago, Acting Metropolitan Police Chief Robert Contee said the National Guard is boosting the numbers of guardsmen around the Capitol complex to more than 20,000.
This is a substantial increase from over the weekend when 6,000 were deployed. The number was increased to a total of 15,000 on Monday.
Now, more than 20,000 guardsmen are expected to be armed and patrolling the Capitol grounds. It makes us wonder how large is the threat ahead of President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration on Jan 20.
We Need an Open Digital Commons
January 13th, 2021Via: Reason:
The takeaway from the great deplatforming of 2021 is that we need an open digital commons more than ever, a place where individuals maintain ownership of their own identities and where speech is highly resistant to political pressure.
Decentralized networks are vital to protecting open discourse not only from Twitter, Facebook, and Google, but from Sen. Ted Cruz (R–Texas), Sen. Josh Hawley (R–Mo.), President-elect Joe Biden, and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, who have the real power to stomp on the free speech rights of American citizens.
It’s easy to forget that Twitter’s Jack Dorsey and Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg embraced the concept of a neutral “public square” not long ago. Zuckerberg told Congress in July 2020, “We do not want to become the arbiters of truth.”
But the shift from digital commons to an actively curated news feed was underway long before the election. In October 2020, Facebook suppressed and Twitter blocked the sharing of a New York Post story claiming that Biden met with an executive at a Ukrainian gas company where his son held a board seat.
Twitter also blocked the New York Post from using its account for more than two weeks.
The ‘War On Terror’ Comes Home
January 13th, 2021And now: Facebook Censors Libertarian Ron Paul Amid Big Tech Purge [Update: Facebook Claims Mistake Was Made. Mmm hmm]
Via: Ron Paul on Lew Rockwell:
Last week’s massive social media purges – starting with President Trump’s permanent ban from Twitter and other outlets – was shocking and chilling, particularly to those of us who value free expression and the free exchange of ideas. The justifications given for the silencing of wide swaths of public opinion made no sense and the process was anything but transparent. Nowhere in President Trump’s two “offending” Tweets, for example, was a call for violence expressed explicitly or implicitly. It was a classic example of sentence first, verdict later.
Many Americans viewed this assault on social media accounts as a liberal or Democrat attack on conservatives and Republicans, but they are missing the point. The narrowing of allowable opinion in the virtual public square is no conspiracy against conservatives. As progressives like Glenn Greenwald have pointed out, this is a wider assault on any opinion that veers from the acceptable parameters of the mainstream elite, which is made up of both Democrats and Republicans.
Yes, this is partly an attempt to erase the Trump movement from the pages of history, but it is also an attempt to silence any criticism of the emerging political consensus in the coming Biden era that may come from progressive or antiwar circles.
Trump Going to Alamo, Texas [???]
January 12th, 2021Via: Reuters:
U.S. President Donald Trump plans to emerge from seclusion on Tuesday for the first time since the U.S. Capitol was ransacked by pro-Trump protesters and will travel to Alamo, Texas, to visit his signature border wall.
…
The White House said there was no symbolism to the choice of Alamo for Trump’s visit. The Alamo mission in San Antonio, Texas, was the scene of a famous 1836 battle when Texans were routed by Mexican forces.

Specifically, FEMA is authorized to identify, mobilize, and provide at its discretion, equipment and resources necessary to alleviate the impacts of the emergency. Emergency protective measures, limited to direct Federal assistance, will be provided at 100 percent Federal funding.
Pete Gaynor, Administrator, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Department of Homeland Security, named Thomas J. Fargione as the Federal Coordinating Officer for Federal recovery operations in the affected area.
