Fringe Science: Antidepressants Are Based on Pseudoscience, Potentially Contribute to Mass Shootings

November 2nd, 2023

This is probably not news to you, but just in case.

Here we will cover a trio of interrelated stories:

Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressants severely disrupt shrimp neurological function and cause them to essentially kill themselves

The “serotonin deficiency” theory behind depression is now clinically debunked, rendering the entire theoretical antidepressant mechanism of SSRIs mute – although they continue to generate generous profits for pharmaceutical firms nonetheless

The majority of mass shooters in the United States are subsequently found to have been taking antidepressants, which often goes unremarked upon in the pharmaceutical industry-controlled media for obvious reasons

State of Democracy Declines Worldwide Amid Tainted Elections, Eroding Freedoms

November 2nd, 2023

Via: UPI:

The state of democracy is diminishing around the globe as dozens of nations experienced recent declines in democratic values, including tainted elections and restrictions on individual freedoms, according to a new study published Thursday by a Swedish political advocacy group.

The analysis by the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance said democratic norms and standards were faltering in nearly half of the 173 countries it surveyed due to weakening government checks and balances, corruption, rigged elections, and a general lack of accountability from elected leaders who flout the law.

SpaceX Starlink Will Offer Mobile Phone Services on Existing Handsets Starting in 2024

November 2nd, 2023

Via: The Verge:

SpaceX has published a new webpage to promote its upcoming “Starlink Direct to Cell” service that plans to offer cellular connectivity to “existing LTE phones” via satellite. The website, which PCMag reports went live earlier this week, notes that the service will initially be limited to texting services in 2024, with voice and data functionality following in 2025, alongside support for IoT devices.

“Direct to Cell works with existing LTE phones wherever you can see the sky. No changes to hardware, firmware, or special apps are required, providing seamless access to text, voice, and data,” SpaceX’s website reads.

Largest Increase in U.S. Infant Mortality Rate in Two Decades

November 2nd, 2023

What could it be? Hmm…

Via: AP:

The U.S. infant mortality rate rose 3% last year — the largest increase in two decades, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

White and Native American infants, infant boys and babies born at 37 weeks or earlier had significant death rate increases. The CDC’s report, published Wednesday, also noted larger increases for two of the leading causes of infant deaths — maternal complications and bacterial meningitis.

“It’s definitely concerning, given that it’s going in the opposite direction from what it has been,” said Marie Thoma, a University of Maryland researcher who studies maternal and infant mortality.

Dr. Eric Eichenwald, a Philadelphia-based neonatologist, called the new data “disturbing,” but said experts at this point can only speculate as to why a statistic that generally has been falling for decades rose in 2022.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr Says He Flew on Jeffrey Epstein’s ‘Lolita Express’

It is a small world.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has clarified the nature of his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, after it was revealed that the presidential hopeful had flown on the convicted sex offender’s private jet.

Amid mounting curiosity over Kennedy being listed as one of the passengers, a spokesperson for the former Democrat exclusively told Newsweek that he had “flown one time on Jeffrey Epstein’s private plane. It was in 1993 from [New York City] to Palm Beach [Florida] to visit RFK Jr.’s mom for Easter.”

The spokesperson added that the private jet trip was made possible by Kennedy’s then-wife, Mary Richardson Kennedy, who was friendly with Epstein’s partner at the time, Ghislaine Maxwell. Richardson Kennedy passed away in 2012. Kennedy has been married to Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines since 2014.

“Mary, Kennedy’s wife, and two of their kids were on the flight,” the representative said. “Mary knew Epstein’s girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, who learned that they were going to Palm Beach for Easter and offered their family a ride.”

Anthony Fauci-run Lab in Montana Experimented with Coronavirus Strain from Wuhan a Year Before Covid Pandemic Began

November 1st, 2023

Via: Daily Mail:

US taxpayer money was used to experiment with coronaviruses from the Chinese lab thought to be the source of the Covid pandemic more than a year before the global outbreak, an investigation has found.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH), under Dr Anthony Fauci’s leadership, infected 12 Egyptian fruit bats with a ‘SARS-like’ virus called WIV1 at a lab in Montana in 2018.

The WIV1-coronavirus was shipped from the Wuhan lab the FBI believes caused the Covid pandemic and was tested on bats acquired from a ‘roadside’ Maryland zoo.

The research – revealed this week by a campaign group – determined the novel virus could not cause a ‘robust infection’.

But the research is more evidence of ties between the US government and the Wuhan lab, as well as the funding of dangerous virus research across the globe.

“Heavily Armed Man Killed Himself Rather Than Carry Out Attack at Colorado Amusement Park”

October 31st, 2023

Very strange.

Via: New York Post:

A heavily armed man killed himself rather than carry out an apparent plan to shoot up a mountaintop amusement park in Colorado, his body discovered in a bathroom next to words scrawled on the wall, “I am not a killer,” authorities said Monday.

Diego Barajas Medina, 20, was found dead in a women’s bathroom at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park by a maintenance crew on Saturday morning, before the park opened to the public. He died of a self-inflected gunshot wound to the head, Garfield County Coroner Robert Glassmire said.

Medina apparently entered the park while it was closed, armed with an AR-style rifle, a semi-automatic handgun and explosives and was wearing body armor and tactical clothing, similar to what a police SWAT team member might wear, authorities said.
